Just got my PTC Update e-mail. Hope it's just a coincidence that the completion date is Feb. 2, 2010.

I think Bernie & gang did it in a weird perverse way to honor the underground tunnels for this project.

This is what happens when govt. workers have 3 years to try to put the finishing touches on a project that would have taken 3 months in the private sector.

They worked on this finale for so long, their brains turned to mush and this is the best they could come up with. According to wikipedia, they have a lifespan of 2 to 3 years(groundhogs, not govt. workers). Kind of goes with the length of the project, don't you think? Maybe we can get the city to name the tunnels Woodchuck and Groundhog. And have the new Mayor do a dedication opening day ceremony on Feb. 2nd. at the tunnels. He could bring one(groundhog, not govt. worker) with him and if he sees his shadow, it means we have 6 more weeks of GDOT bureaucracy.

HA Ha...I need to see the sun soon, I think.

Subject is the only variation I can think of right now. I like the scenario you presented. However, I was thinking of the movie when I wrote that.
