Obama wants terrorists to have a jury of their peers.

But who are their peers?
Other terrorists?
Will they have Muslims on the jury?
OJ Jury?

Well, if you have already judged all 200 of them guilty, then after eight years they don't need a trial---just more Iguanas to eat!

What did we do with the other 6-700 that were originally in GITMO? Must not have been guilty, huh? Or did we drown them?

My point is, there is no such thing as an impartial jury of peers for terrorists. We’ll have to pay for their lawyers at more than a million dollars per defendant. Their lawyers will never allow a jury to impaneled. They’ll argue forever about the venue. They’ll strike every juror with a brain and end up with a bunch of bonker$heads.. I mean morons who will succumb to threats of death by terrorists if they convict.

The terrorists will get light sentences or be acquitted. If by chance one of them got the death penalty, these would be 20 or more years of appeals for the taxpayers to foot. We would have to pay extra to keep those convicted in cells separate from the general prison population, because unlike politicians convicts actually have a code of honor and would put the terrorists to death.

The military has been handling war trials for over 200 years (just in case you didn’t know). They are better equipped to handle this one.
