Go directly to Jail Do not pass Go Pay tax of $2000.00

Under the House bill those who can afford to buy insurance and don’t’ pay a fine. If the refuse to pay that fine there’s a threat – as with a lot of tax fines – of jail time
The President said that he didn’t think the question over the appropriateness of possible jail time is the “biggest question” the House and Senate are facing right now.

It’s not..???

Wait a minute.. The Government comes in and at the point of a gun and will force you to do something you do not wish to do.. Something that harms no one and threatens your Liberty with JAIL
and that is not the “BIGGEST QUESTION”.. Like HECK it should be the only Question..

Don’t want Healthcare.. Go to Jail.. LINK

When I was laid off a few years ago, I was a single father with 2 kids. When I couldn't find a job, I sold my house and most everything else. I scraped and worked temporary jobs for 3 years trying to keep things above water. Many nights I went to bed not knowing where the next meal or rent was going to come from. $30 to buy food for 2 weeks for 3 people isn't a lot. We all survived, but during those years, I did not have health insurance because I simply could not afford it. Although our health was a priority; food, clothing and shelter were more important.

I am not the only person who has been in this situation. Currently, with so much unemployment and everyone cutting back, there are a lot of people in dire straights.

How can a government, which is supposed to take care of it's citizens, going to threaten people with no resources and make it mandatory to buy something like health insurance when many people are having problems even surviving?

I was lucky that me and my kids had relatively good health during those lean years, but I guess if it was tomorrow, we'd just end up in jail! Overcrowding the jails with people who can't buy insurance will sure solve all the problems.
