Woman is assaulted on Glenloch cart path

A woman was assaulted on a cart path near Huddleston Pond in broad daylight Sunday afternoon, police said.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:45 p.m. The suspect is described as a white man in his late 50s wearing a yellow shirt and gray running shorts with a green stripe.

Police are hoping someone may have witnessed the incident or seen the suspect leaving the area. Police also have released a drawing of the suspect’s face in an attempt to have him identified.

A reward of up to $1,000 has been established for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.

Anyone with information on this case is asked to call police at 770-631-2510 or the crime and narcotics information hotline at 770-487-6010. Callers may remain anonymous.

He lists the suspects description as it is available to him.

Beyond that the use of Acorn or Krewe or any other term you'd like to use as a signal for your intentions is inappropriate. The news stands on it's own, the commentary shows your colors.

I sure hope this lady is okay. And if this guy is guilty...then I hope he pulls a weapon during his arrest and the good guys drop him for good. And that's all I'm going to say about that.

You always seem to be the arbiter of what people really mean; always capable of reading between the lines, catching the inference -- even when there is none. And what you read between those lines always magically perfectly fits your worldview. What luck.

Thugs' race

It wasn't the descriptive narrative that was objected to - but the ignorance displayed by 'some' posters who then inferred that 'all' 'blacks' need to be dealt with in one way or another. It's interesting, but not unusual that most thinking persons don't make such statements about the majority population. I think it was Tug13 who may have stated that the difference among humans is based more on social status and economics/education rather than 'race'.

Does ACORN have some similarity to ENRON? Just askin' Eye-wink
Both are considered by some to have screwed the public.

I read about this on the WSB site so its more than likely true. I decided to check here for more info because usually this places is swimming with comments on stories like this. Sadly, this is not the case for this one. Anyways, I hope the victim is okay and they catch the right guy.
