Georgia Public Broadcasting is currently running a show entitled "Woman Who Thinks Like a Cow". It is about Temple Grandin, a woman diagnosed with autism in the 1940's, who is a professor at a Texas University, author of many books, and developer of more humane cattle moving systems in the United States.

If you have a young child diagnosed with autism, and have not had the privilege of going to one of Temple's conferences, you will gain much information and hope. If you do not have someone diagnosed with autism, I still urge you to view this program, so that we can end the misconceptions people have about autism, so that people with autism will have more success.
