The following is a list detailing campaign contributions for each mayor and city council candidate in Peachtree City. By Georgia law, candidates are required to disclose the identity of any contributor who gives more than $101 in cash or in-kind donations.

While this information represents the latest available, candidates have to meet another deadline Friday for their final pre-election report. The Citizen chose not to wait for those figures since many people were taking advantage of early voting this week. We will, however, update this list with those final figures next week.

That need to be paid back.
2 senators, a law firm, one "tennis center/big box/ dump under the new police station"EX-mayor lenox.......

What could go wrong with those kind of people backing you?

The only thing that could make this smell better would be if harold jumped in and supported her too.

Skyspy, I understand you are cynical about politicians, but allow for the possibility that prominent members of the community can (and in this case do, I believe) with pride and conviction support the candidate of their choice because they believe that candidate (Cyndi) to be the best choice. I mean, exactly what payback to you think Bob Lenox or Matt Ramsey expects? Be informed, be vigilant, but be fair.

I don't think I'm the only person who has become very cynical over the years. I will vote for the lesser of all of the evils. Then all we can do is hope for the best and plan for the worst.

I hope that this is one election that the citizens of PTC will win.

I was looking at who gave money to whom and noticed that other than one donor and her own loan to herself, Vanessa received $500 from the GA Assn of Realtor PAC. Not exactly home grown grass roots support. I have nothing against Vanessa and am actually undecided in this post, but PAC contributions in PTC don't seem to go together.

Something smells fishy, why are two County Commissioners Eric Maxwell and Herb Frady giving money to a Mayoral Candidate, And what really bothers me is why our Local State Rep. Matt Ramsey and Senator Ronnie Chance giving money to Cyndi Plunkett.
This sounds like more of the Good ole boy network. Even when she is a girl. It just goes to show you that her votes are already being bought. I am really disappointed in Maxwell, it goes to show you he only holeyer than now when he wants attention.

To summarize:

If contributions are a good indicator the election will go as follows.

Mayor: Scott Rowland

Post 1: Shelby Barker
Post 3: Kim Learnard
Post 4: Vanessa Fleisch

MORE INFORMATION:
Excluding self donations the race looks the same.

For total transparency my total donations received to date are $420.00 cash, all under $101.00, and $86.45 in kind. No more expenses.

Obviously the special interests are not supporting me.

Don't you mean invisible? Your message is so strong and powerful that 522 voters took time out of their day to vote for you. You whined that you split votes with another candidate? No one could tell the difference between you and the other two. Worse than that, nobody thinks any of the three of you could mess it up any worse than the other. Only a few of us know you have no desire to do anything to help small businesses in PTC. We know you don't want any business to do anything that would shift market share from one to another. (your words) Definition of insanity: doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. We have to make changes to the over restrictive sign ordinance to help these business. Otherwise, we could effectively put the village businesses in distress. Need to do something different! Need to look at outlawing reverse channel neon signs. Why? Because they are the least effective signs and the most expensive. Ask David Rast.
