The Deficit.. IT'S ALIVE.. It's ALIVE

Sorry my tribute to Halloween...

The Wall Street Journal announced that the projected spending for this New Fiscal Year will be an increase of 12.1 % That's increase is on top of the 1.4 TRILLION Dollars we already racked up.. and that does not include Medicare or Medicaid.

What does that mean..

It means we are going to be BORROWING like crazy from CHINA. That is if we can get the Money..

Our AAA rating is in Danger which means the interest we pay is going to skyrocket..

Or I guess we can just print it up..

The Fed is borrowing 125 BILLION just this week..

How does any of this affect you?

The Dollar is taking a beating..

We either stop the borrowing and printing or INFLATION RAMPANT INFLATION is just around the corner..

Which means your DOLLAR buys LESS and LESS..

The Economy is bogged down even further by this excessive spending..

We cannot spend our way out of recession or debt.. It has never worked before and will not now.

Story

Economic growth and job creation remain the government's top priority, despite a federal deficit that is "too high," Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said in an interview broadcast Sunday.

So when the Guv money finally runs out or becomes devalued what then?

24,000 N.J. jobs, White House says

New Jersey public and charter schools said they would be employing 13,777 fewer people without the federal funding, according to the report.

Well, the rest of the story is that the NJ State Supreme Court has taken control of funding distribution and sends over half of the state funding to 31 largely urban "special needs" school districts, the special needs of which were for the most part created by decades of Democratic mismanagement. The remaining 554 largely suburban towns fight over the rest.

Oh, in case you are wondering, the city gets $29,895 per-pupil annually in education aid from the state. The total per-pupil cost exceeds $35,000 annually— enough to ship the kids off to prep schools where they would get top-notch schooling and room and board. The average per-pupil cost across the state is about $18,000.

What a bunch of.............well, a bunch of bovine manure

Although he Unemployment rates are going up faster than before..

Debt is spiraling out of control.. But that is good debt I guess.. When the Bush administration was spending us into oblivion it was bad debt... but this is good debt.

I have told you before----lack of income for the government is more of the debt than spending for this calendar year!
Most of Bush's Tarp hasn't even been spent! None of Obama's.

Had you not noticed how much less even our local governments (state, county, city) have taken in from sales taxes and personal property and commercial taxes?

It will get worse due to such poor condition.

We will have inflation in a year or so in all likelihood-- and the unemployment will still be 15%+

An army of democrats couldn't stop this mess anyways soon and if they don't spend that money it will get even worse---
Recognize what the real problem is!

Decline in tax receipts was a little over 300 billion. If you think it's a lack of income instead of spending an enormous amount of money that lead to a 1.9 TRILLION dollar deficit, whatever. TARP, ARRA and all that was about 800 billion by itself.

Let me break this down for you, Bonky: when you have a budget that is already in the red and you can go and approve a new and additional 800 billion in spending, it's not a lack of income that is causing a gigantic deficit.

"Lack of income." LOL.

You really don't do any logical "due diligence" research do you?

Shortages in the budgets of the 50 states alone for tax collection is more than the debt!

What you want is for the federal government to continue supporting all of the states so that Georgia and 49 others won't need money from the federals to pay teachers, cops, firemen, etc.
You either pay tax enough here or to the federal government eventually!

I'm fed up with local politicians not wanting to pay their own bills in order to get re-elected, but take the federal hand-outs instead. That is hypocrisy. You are in that crowd!

Just got to get rid of more of those in the next election in 2010.
What we need is honesty and integrity and intelligence.
