You have affirmed my belief in birther gullibility with your eager and credulous acceptance of the information written in your nut newspaper, the WorldNetDaily. Most of the article discusses the date of Kenya's independence and for the most part is true but irrelevant to the discussion of when Kenya became a republic. I did click on the link to the Ameriborn Constitution News, cited in the article as a source of information for the "researcher", but there are no references to Kenya there at all. I suspect that you did not check it.

The only statement which actually discusses the date of Kenya becoming a republic seems to be, "But Kenya's official independence was in 1963, and any number of labels could have been applied to government documents during that time period." Well, I suppose that any number of labels could have been applied so I won't argue with that. However, since you attacked my credibility, I hope that you will not mind if, in my defense, I point out which labels actually were applied.

If you will go to the official website of the government of Kenya at: www.statehousekenya.go.ke and follow the link to the Office of the President, there you will find the biographies of their former Presidents. Click on the biography of their first President and read a few paragraphs and you will find this:

"On June 1, 1963, Mzee Kenyatta became the first Prime Minister of self-governing Kenya. At midnight on December 12, 1963, at Uhuru Stadium, amid world leaders and multitudes of people, a new nation was born and a year later, on December 12, 1964, Kenya became a republic with Kenyatta as the President."

I despair at your ability to weigh and discern which is the more credible source of information on this, WorldNetDaily touting a document certified by a laundry detergent, or the Office of the President of Kenya's official website. There is nothing I can do about that though.

Incidentally, I also clicked on the link provided in the article to the "online source" which claimed Kenya became a one party state in November 1964 and was pleased that it directed me to the highly regarded international think tank, FreeDictionary.com. Kenya actually became a one party state in 1969. I can provide references if you want them.

Obama has produced his birth certificate. He was born in Hawaii. That makes him a US citizen. The top Republicans in the state have verified this as being true.

Were Obama to release his "real" birth certificate, it would immediately be denounced by your birther movement leaders as a fake. They know their followers as well as I do and they sleep comfortably at night knowing that you would accept any claim they made about it as the real "truth". After all, what possible basis would you be able to use to determine otherwise?

The possible legal ramifications of the failure of the Democratic National Committee to properly certify Obama as a natural born citizen are exactly zero. The candidates and their political parties file papers with the Federal Election Commission. It is the FEC which certifies legal eligibility not the political parties. The FEC certified Obama's eligibility during Bush's watch.

As to your possible scenarios of the District Court, you are once again demonstrating how out of touch you are with reality. You should really do more research.

Obama has already produced his birth certificate, so your scenario number one is not going to happen. In fact, I doubt if Obama even knows about the law suit and if he does, he simply doesn't care.

As to your second scenario, the President cannot be arrested under any circumstances until after an impeachment trial, as others here have adequately covered. Obama has absolute immunity. He will not be arrested. He will not be deported.

So both of your possible outcome of Berg's lawsuit are not going to happen. What will happen is an outcome you seem to be unable to grasp despite its inevitably. The judge is going to tell Berg that he is a raving lunatic and he is going to throw the suit out of court. Just as inevitably, you birthers will interpret that outcome as evidence that the judge is in on the conspiracy.

If I might offer you some advice. Please find a friend who is not a birther and give them your next blog and ask them if its stupid before you post it. Then listen to what they say.

Thanks for bringing out these inconsistencies. The sad thing is that most people who believe that Obama was born in Africa don't want to research to see just where his mother was on August 4. I guess that truth would be just too hard to take.

The good news is that the thousands - maybe millions that came out and voted for him on their first and only trip to the polls won't care a thing about the midterm congressional elections next year.
