What’s up with this big hole in PTC?

Since the widening project on Ga. Highway 74 in Peachtree City, there has been a big hole at the intersection of Hwy. 74 and Paschall Road in Peachtree City.

Does anyone have a clue as to what this is for? Who is responsible? When it will be filled in?

I mean this is a BIG hole, not one of the run of the mill variety holes. You could probably hide a semi-trailer in there.

While I am at it, when is Peachtree City going to fill in the water hole on McIntosh Trail across from the entrance to Sandown Creek? This water/sludge hole has been there for many, many years just waiting to swallow up a car or, worse yet, a toddler.

If I had such a water/sludge hole in my yard, I can guarantee you that the city would have one of their code inspectors out there with notebook and citation in hand quicker than you could say shazaam.

The hole at 74 and Paschall Rd is a golf cart tunnel under 74....When will it be finished? Who knows but at least it has a future purpose and make crossing 74 safer for cart traffic etc..
