After reading the transcript, this young girl had been exposed to sex and pills before (according to her testimony). The mother should have been indicted for child neglect/endangerment. I hope you mean that the DA was upset. I just wonder how much Polanski paid this mother to 'use' her child? According the knowledgeable people here in Georgia - this practice of exposing young children to predators is not limited to 'Hollywood'. Parents, grandparents - continue to protect and supervise your children! Fayette County has some problems also - but what attracts people here is the outstanding school system supported by great teachers and caring parents. Keep the predators out - even those with money and promises of stardom.

It was a 44 year old man intimidating and drugging a 13 year old girl to violate her in every possible way. She was so traumatized and the thought of a jury trial and testifying was too much for the 13 year old at the time. Her family allowed Polanski to plea down to avoid a trial. When Polanski saw that he was going to get real jail time, he fled. The Hollywood types are scary. I guess it is okay with them to troll the middle schools and prey on young girls.

Does the lack of outrage from Hollywood and the far left really surprise any of us? If that Child Predator Polanski did that to my daughter they would be digging lead out his brains trying to determine what the last number that went through his mind was.

Many sex offenders are homeless today - and Polanski, because he fled - has lived like a king. There is outrage! Sadly, this man, who is undoubtedly talented, was allowed to function while many others have had to live on the 'fringes' of society because they have been identified as 'sex offenders'. have a different 'moral' standard than the US. It's difficult for me to understand - because what I witnessed while there was that they truly cherish their younger children - but when a child becomes a teenager, there is a far different standard regarding sex and children than we have in the US. I'm not saying that French parents would not be outraged if their child was abused - but the public takes a different view of 'sex'. Puzzling and disturbing.
