RUSh here,, RUSH there.. RUSH everywhere but for our troops

Everyday we face a new CRISIS.. at least that is what this Administration keeps telling us... WE had to have Tarp or Unemployment would go over 8%.. now at 9.7%

We have to have Healthcare REFORM NOW even though there are no dead homeless in the streets..

Obama is pushing his agenda faster than any other President in history.. with one EXCEPTION our TROOPS.

Obama took out a very respected General in Afghanistan and replaced him with General Stanly McCrystal.. Obama’s own man on the ground said in his report linked below.. "WE risk losing this war without additional resources"

That report was sitting on Big O's desk since AUGUST 30TH..

and Obama still sits on the report. No action taken.. NOW we have to study it be sure of all angles before he acts.
He said "I don't want to act hastily"..

Now do you understand where we get our outrage.. it's not the color of his skin it's the lack of a spine and progressive agenda.

btw.. Where are all the LIBERALS who castigated BUSH over the lack of resources (HUMMERS)remember that argument.. Here is a President SITTING on the report from the Commander in the field.. WHY?

Nah Steve,Mr. Evans doesn't qualify as either as a Political or Military Strategist and apparently has forgotten proper military terminology as well. While there may be some truths embedded, the letter will be dismissed as "the same old whine". While I am personally unhappy with indicisiveness on important issues on the part of anyone who has the responsibility to make decisions concerning the welfare of our Armed Forces and perhaps the ultimate security of our nation, I do not think that any personal expression of dissatisfaction will cause change. You DO know about change, don't you? It's about as close to pissing into the wind as I can imagine. BTW, I DO communicate with my elected members of Congress routinely.

Instead their focus is to protect the Afghani citizens even if it puts our Troops at a greater risk..!!!!??

Now I know why Obama choose him and why Big "O" is sitting on the report. It is designed to lose this war..Bring them home now if we are not fighting to win.. then call it quits we lost and go home.
This is where Obama said we should be at.. well he's got the ball and what.. time to punt??

Bush and people could never define what "winning" was in Iraq or Afghanistan--not for going on nine years!

The enemy is mostly in Pakistan who we are afraid of since they have the bomb--would upset India terribly--another bomb holder, and there are ungodly mountains and winters in which to fight well organized Taliban and a few Bin Laden people. It would take more ground troop than we had in Viet-Nam to invade and occupy and try that mess---Maybe 3-4 million troops, AND THEN THEY WOULD JUST WAIT US OUT WITH GUERILLA WARFARE UNTIL WE LEFT LIKE THE BRITISH AND RUSSIANS HAD TO DO!!!
Big mistakes by Bush and company---he should have vamoosed right after destroying the Bin Laden base camps--It will be hell now to just get out.

Troops

This is another way for Obama to flex his EGO. He doesn't care who gets hurt as long as everybody knows he's the ONE who is in charge. He needs to listen to the people who are there and the ones who have been there. He has experience in community organizing. He is not qualified to make this kind of decision. He needs to listen to the people he selected to make decisions. I wish he would take that same staolling attitude on health care , but no no he wants to rush that through before anyone including him has a chance to read the bill. I trust General McChristal to make the right decision after all he the one with the knowledge in this area. Obama could get them all organized but then what would he do? Tell the taliban and al-quieda to play nide from now on.

Which do you support:

1) Pulling all of our troops out of Afghanistan and giving it back to the Taliban (snatching loss from the jaws of victory)

2) Increasing troop levels by approx 50k (as recommended by the military leadership)

3) Doing nothing while American Soldiers die from your inaction (aka: Obama Plan)

4) Changing the subject to record high unemployment, record high foreclosures, record high troop deaths, record high government spending, record high deficits, record fall in Presidential Approval Ratings despite record high presidential exposure with record high favorable press coverage, record low dollar values, or record growth in the number of government employees

Or do you just want to deflect criticism by changing the topic and making personal attacks on people not discussed in this thread?
