Deer stuck_#2_Southern Shores

This young deer became wedged in a backyard fence Saturday in the Southern Shores neighborhood.

Peachtree City emergency personnel responded and used the "jaws of life" to free the animal, who quickly ran off into the surrounding forest.

stop baiting deer hunting season opened on saturday for bow only!!
i will rework my deer trap. so it does not cost the goverment money to free the over populated bastard.for a cost of a bullet this young doe could have feed a famialy for awhile.but no we(they) had the fire department free it "with the jaws of life".no i do not kill anaimals unless they are tasty and i eat everything i fish or hunt.with all the corn people put out in town this one would have been usda grade A.
most folks in the area are unaware the fayette county along with clyton and henry have the largest deer populations in the state and is set to double every 2 seasons. people in peachtree city stop feeding deer and other wild anamals. the deer are already inbreeding
that is a very bad thing they also jump out in front of cars alot just take a ride down 54 at night and if you are a anamal lover go 60mph with high beams on. now there is a large very large population of cyote in the county , the largest any hunter can remeber they're feed on the one's we hit and make it back into the woods to die.also feeding deer and atracting deer and not hunting or killing off extra population is very bad.i am sorry that sounds mean but it is fact. the wild pig are no fun to watch and i have seen a good many working there way up "they love corn". just google adel ga russin wild boar you'll see.very mean and imposible to get rid of. feed deer =over population=hiting cars=cyotes big time= wild boar's.

No, maybe MyTFox will!

The deer eat our blooms and leaves also. Especially in the winter.
If I could legally I would like to have put at least one of the 8 pointers in our yard into the freezer! They grill up well.
It is time we figured out a way to reduce the number in PTC and have them butchered for those who wish to have the meat.

Like an old-timey hog killing get together one week-end after hunters brought them in. HP rifles aren't the only way to get them! It is not arrows either---not much skill in that left.

Stampede them alive into a net that fouls them, then slaughter them.

There are plenty of vicious people in PTC and the County who would love to participate!

That a sheep would get caught in my fence in that position.

Check the mirror--you're looking at the sheep.

The forests in PTC are hard to see because there are so many trees in the way.

It's not easy being the carbonunit

Sure know how that experience goes. Keeps my wife pissed on occasion. Also have a couple of Persimmon trees in my back yard and have had as many as 7 deer in my backyard at one time chomping on those persimmons. They are also bold enough to visit a bird feeder I have in front of my kitchen window--though late at night. Apparently, they just use their tongue to lick the sunflower seeds out.

I am glad they rescued it.

Wouldn't it have been funny if immediately after they rescued it, it ran into traffic and was hit by a car? Smiling Just kidding!!!

I am glad this one made it, but I have seen plenty in the roads that haven't.

..reminded me of the story I read recently: Devout Austrian, Gunther Link went to a Vienna church to give thanks for his rescue after being trapped in an elevator - but was killed when the church altar fell on him.
