Brothels, Rangel, & Melear's Bar-B-Que

As lawmakers return to the Capitol for the fall’s epic battle over health care reform, Rep. Charles Rangel (D-N.Y.) appeared likely to retain his chairmanship of the powerful Ways and Means Committee, despite new allegations about his tangled finances and fresh calls for the Harlem Democrat to relinquish his leadership post.

Where is the outrage from the press? The Democrats? And the Left? Where is the outrage from David's Mom and Main Stream? Why haven't they demanded his resignation? Demanded him prosecuted?

Could it be more Democrat hypocrisy? To credit the Republicans for something, even they would have discarded this type of corrupt rubbish by now. But Rangel is a Democrat. So I suppose he gets graded on the curve.

If there were four things I could care less about than brothels, Melear's, Rangel or bar-b-que I don't know what it could be!

One is illegal, one is obnoxious, one is prejudiced, and one is unhealthy and fowl.

Yet it does seem to fit into Fayette politics well. Closed minded, selfish, hate, and clannish.

Yet I have lived in such squallor for 29 years.

It just seemed like throwing the other 3 in would brighten up your morning. Couldn't agree on much of your assessment. However, can you match obnoxious, prejudiced, illegal, along with unhealthy and fowl to correct person, place or object???? Actually you descriptions fit all four.

But I stand by my assertion Bonker$. Had Rangel been a Republican you along with others on here would have been all over his a$$ crying fowl.... or was that foul? Eye-wink

But rave on with your 'Independent' hypocrisy sir. I always look forward to your posts.

Why is it when Repubs get caught with their hands in the cookie jar or their hands on something else in a bathroom stall.. they get booted.. Dems just get standing O's and promotions?

Does seem a little screwed up.

Dems don't generally campaign on a holier-than-thou platform of moral values like they are only people on this Earth that have any. A lot of Repubs do and are in everyone's face with it. When they falter, it's great media fodder and rightly so. Everyone likes to see pompous azzes brought down to size, whether that's a Jimmy Swaggart or Jim Baker or some politician sleazebag like Sanford who still has zero clue whatsoever.

Charles Rangel will get his "media" comeuppance sooner or later and can continue being a total embarrassment to the Dems in the meantime. It's a big win for Repubs that he's still a sitting chairman and in office. He simply reinforces the disgust a lot of people who are now waking up have for Congress.

I could understand.. but what does that make the Dems.. The immoral majority?

No Nuk the basic difference is the repugs do one thing right.. They throw the trash out.. instead of bickering about whos turn it is to take out the garbage.
