PTC man arrested for child exploitationMon, 08/31/2009 - 10:57am

A Peachtree City man was arrested Sunday in north Georgia after traveling there to meet with a person he thought was a minor child. Barry Loman, 45, was arrested by federal agents on child exploitation charges, officials said. Loman is a golf professional at Lake Spivey Golf Club in Jonesboro and is currently being held at the Catoosa County Jail, officials said. The arrest was made by the Northwest Georgia Crimes Against Children Task Force which includes the FBI and officers from the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office, Dalton Police Department, Dade County Sheriff’s Office, Rossville Police Department, and the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office. login to post comments |
