A Peachtree City man was arrested Sunday in north Georgia after traveling there to meet with a person he thought was a minor child.

Barry Loman, 45, was arrested by federal agents on child exploitation charges, officials said.

Loman is a golf professional at Lake Spivey Golf Club in Jonesboro and is currently being held at the Catoosa County Jail, officials said.

The arrest was made by the Northwest Georgia Crimes Against Children Task Force which includes the FBI and officers from the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office, Dalton Police Department, Dade County Sheriff’s Office, Rossville Police Department, and the Catoosa County Sheriff’s Office.

Chief Murray and the PD were right and all you clowns were wrong about the porno stings they did. A lot of you bedwetters complained about the PD bringing perverts in to PTC. Look here--- a pervert from PTC who knew better than to do it in PTC and went to North Georgia instead. I say crank the program back up, Heather.

OMG! I know someone who's neighbors with this man and her son was getting golf lessons from him. During the summer, Barry would take her son, in the car by himself, to Lake Spivey for golf camp!!!!! I PRAY, PRAY, PRAY he never tried anything! This man deserves to be put away for a very long time!

I agree with you ptctaxpayer - CRANK IT BACK UP! PTC has had a lot of crime reporting going on and it's VERY scary!
