City Staffing-City Hall, PD and FDUntil someone has the guts to give the public a breakdown of salaries by rank at PD and FD and by title in the City Hall, and just how the the PD and FD cover 24/7, (besides the only answer ever given (one on a truck (how many trucks?) instead of three, and 12 on and 12 off) which means I suppose that only 1/2 of the people are working at the PD and FD at any given time, less people off for sickness and vacation, this stupid argument will continue. Pretty soon we are going to find that collections of taxes to pay for what we have will fall off considerably. It is already happening many places. Without jobs and houses about to be lost there is no taxes! I don't think we can cut salaries in these areas very much as they are for the teachers, but common sense tells us we must take some action. Homes are over-valued now. Unless of course, all those who make above $250,000 per year want to pick up the slack! Bonkers's blog | login to post comments |
