Fayetteville police have released a photo of a man who robbed the Bank of America on Ga. Highway 314 Saturday morning. The photo shows the robber, disguised only by sunglasses, as he is at the teller's counter. That's where he gave the teller a note that set off the robbery, police said. The robber never showed a weapon and walked out of the bank, down New Hope Road a short distance and then disappeared into the woods, police said. The suspect was described as a black male, clean shaven and about 6 feet tall, wearing a white dress shirt and black pants. He is believed to be between 25 and 30 years old. K-9 units and the sheriff’s department’s helicopter were deployed in the search of nearby neighborhoods immediately after the incident. The suspect left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, police said. login to post comments |
