Las Vegas was once known as the place to go for a low cost cheap vacation, cheap food, cheap rooms, cheap entertainment. The idea of a cheap vacation was lost the minute the mega resorts rolled into town, however, not all hope is lost, there are still some values to be found on the strip. If you are looking for a cheap vacation and you are willing to do things a little differently you might be able to cram in a low cost trip to Las Vegas.

Hotels for Your Cheap Vacation

Often time you read about great deals for hotels only to find out you have to take two buses and walk two miles just to get to where the action is. That is not the idea behind a cheap vacation. You want to enjoy yourself at all the spots that the big money people are at but at a fraction of the cost.

* Las Vegas in the middle of the week is far more affordable. It still can be absurdly cheap on a Tuesday night. The defining factors are often conventions and major events but on average rooms are cheaper during the week. Avoid weekends all together if possible, table limits are higher, restaurants reservations are harder to come by and the room might cost you three times as much.

Drinking

It should be understood that Las Vegas is the land of alcohol and the behaviors that are associated with too much drinking. As long as that is understood you can now get a grasp on the simple fact that you have to save as much money as possible on alcohol. You can go broke on drinks alone in Las Vegas and you need to keep this vacation cheap.

* Drinks are free in Las Vegas. Yeah, that's right, free drinks in Las Vegas. Now as long as you are gambling they will feed you alcohol, so get yourself to a nickel slot machine and sit around and wait for the cocktail waitress. Tip well and you will be drinking for a lot less than you think.
* Avoid the clubs if you are trying to save money. The cost of a drink at Las Vegas clubs seems to be on a collision course with skyrocketing gas prices.

According to Las Vegas Tours, the idea of a cheap vacation was lost the minute the mega resorts rolled into town, however, not all hope is lost, there are still some values to be found on the strip. If you are looking for a cheap vacation and you are willing to do things a little differently you might be able to cram in a low cost trip to Las Vegas.

So you're thinking about going to Las Vegas for a quick vacation but you're not quite sure how to sell it to your spouse. Sure, the idea of blackjack at 3 in the morning sounds fun to you, but really, is your significant other really going to enjoy the fact that you want to take shots until the sun comes up? This is the complete resource to help you plan a Las Vegas vacation that works for the entire family.

Before you plan your vacation take a deep breath and figure out exactly what you want out of your Las Vegas vacation. Is it you and your friends out to experience the world? Are you traveling with kids who would like nothing more than to drag you to an amusement park? Is this all about fine dining or heavy drinking? It's Las Vegas, it's whatever you want it to be.

I didn't know this was possible with our without the tips. Vegas is the land of ultimate temptation, even if you win on gambling the city will find a way to convince you to spend the money inside it. So, if you ever plan on going to Vegas I would suggest you to practice on the best online casino...

There are other ways. I leave Sunday for a national pool tournament in Vegas. Flight-free, 3 nights on the strip-free, Tourney fees - free. All paid for.
My humble point is Vegas is a mecca of conventions and meetings, albeit smaller in this economy. Try finding a cross-stitch, rock hound, transvestite (not the same hotel), or whatever interest group and join a club where you can possibly gain some write-off for part of the trip.
If you can't afford the drinks then maybe it isn't the place for you right now. Otherwise see you at 3:30 am on the blackjack tables.
If the one poster is correct and Republicans are staying home to save money it will even be a better venue.

Some guy who spams internet forums pushing his own business (Las Vegas Tours) which is conveniently cited above.

Also the same guy who argues that second-hand smoke isn't harmful. Lots of credibility here, my man. You keep up the fantastic work.

To wit: Vegas Dealers getting sick from second-hand smoke. Scroll down to read the professor's brilliant claims.
