I did not see one black person in fayette county honoring our fallen soldier. Please tell me I am wrong! David's Mom I know that you are black and I APPRECIATE YOUR POST. I just wish more in the black community here felt like you.

I was there also - and saw others. Because you didn't see any doesn't mean we weren't there. As Americans - although I'm proud of the turn-out - the streets should have been PACKED! Where was the rest of the 'white' community? Why make this a 'racial' thing?

I'm even on the video! And...you're wrong; there were black people there. So, I don't know what to tell you. Maybe you weren't there??

Please remember that this was a film clip and as such it did not show the entire route. Besides, I would rather not think what you are insinuating.

First, I don't understand what the black community has to do with this. Are you implying that black people are not patriotic or that they don't support the troops because you didn't see any on the video? That's a rather broad generalization of a whole group of people on the basis of a single event captured from the narrow perspective of a single camera.

Second, I was there. I left Downtown Atlanta early to be there (flexibility with which I am blessed) and I am black. The fact that I was not captured on a dashboard camera doesn't mean that I wasn't there. And, as I recall, I saw other black people too.

David's Mom, thank you for posting the video.

Fayco, you need to apologize.
