Ever Heard Of Thorium Power? You Will.

The first nuclear reactor fueled by thorium will be built in about 5 years, with more to come. Thorium has a lot of practical advantages over the more commonly used uranium, and it can churn out the same amount of emission free electricity to power the U.S.

Thorium is safer, produces less waste and is abundant here in the U.S. Plus it is less prone to cause accidents and can't be used by terrorists for dirty bombs.

Read this excerpt in my week Kiplinger's report and it caught my attention. This was some optimistic news that I thought you guys would enjoy. Now to figure out what the heck Thorium is.... guess it's something they made study on in Junior High that has long since been forgotten.

Now if I can just find something safe to spray on my okra so those derned beetles will quit eating the leaves off my plants. Perhaps a spritz of Thorium.

The Environmental Terriorist will come out against it and the Dems will just pull a Shawshank, grab their ankles and refuse us a clean source of energy.. AGAIN..

Heck even Bankrupt California still refuses to tap oil right off their coast.. and these people think Sarah Palin is stupid.. She at least had the commons SENSE to utilize the States resources for the good of the people..
