Geithner Won’t Rule Out New Taxes for Middle Class

Git Real's picture

Folks,

Was there EVER a doubt this would happen long before Obama ever took office? Now let's hear it... But, but, but if it weren't for Bush.....

Geithner Won’t Rule Out New Taxes for Middle Class

How about actually raising the taxes on the banks, finiancial institutions, and automobile industries that actually RECEIVED the monies. Leave the rest of us alone.

the growing deficit. Now I wonder just how this will reduce the inertia for health care?

Typical Progressive Government Solution.. Create the problem first.. then demigod the problem..blaming everyone else.. then propose fixing the problem they created...

I swear I am running out of Duct Tape.. I keep wrapping my head to keep it from exploding..

Has anyone seen the Cars.Gov mess..DO NOT GO TO THE CARS.GOV SITE The disclaimer says if you do your computer becomes a part of the "Government System" and you give access to your computer.. OMG.. Cash for Clunkers is a scam at best.. AN INVASION OF PRIVACY AT WORST

if the purpose of the Government is to intrude.. face it they will and can intrude.. no gizmos will likely stop them..

Dumb-ass program, ill-conceived and poorly executed. Be interesting to see how many of those new purchases turn into repros in 2 2 yrs.

Is that not what our Politicians Have...so yea, I want that even though I have Healthcare theirs sounds better. They have their own private Pharmacy, the best Dr.'s, the best of everything pertaining to Healthcare and YES, WE THE PEOPLE, pay for it. So I don't know what you call it, but I call it Government Healthcare for the Rich and Powerful.

an employee benefit, just like what many other employees have in private industry. If you want some of that, why not run for office? Or apply for a Govt position somewhere? You'll be eligible for the same benefit program. But before you decide to run for office, consider this: you may have to work long hours; you may spend lots of time wrestling with your own views and opinions; you will never please all your constituents. So....are you in? Go for it!

Employee benefits, Oh yea, we out here in never never land remember those well. That is what corporations use to give employees at least until they don't anymore. Even though those employees had it written into a so called contract. Contracts aren't worth the paper there written on or maybe it just depends on who you are or what group you belong too.

Me, little oh me run for office, ho ho ho...Na I don't think so, it is too much fun poking fun at the wackos. Besides I would not fit in, Corporations would probably do away with me because I don't think any CEO'S should get more than a million in pay. All that extra money could go to employees and benefits. Of course a good Health-care Option to give insurance companies some competition. Yep, I would probably want to give away too much money to those in need..
Nope not narcissistic or greedy enough, and maybe just a little too honest for the likes of being a Politician.

During the next few weeks "We The People" need to attend as many Town Hall Meetings as possible and let these fools know we are not being "represented." Let these fools know that they work for us and if their actions do not reflect this our vote will in all upcoming elections. Herman Cain had a caller on his show a couple of hours ago, who stated that at a recent Town Hall Meeting in Smyrna, that Rep David Scott, stormed out of the bldg after questions about healthcare were brought up and he cared not to respond at some point.

Didn't you question Obama's birth certificate. Are you a Birther, truth will tell...Who wrote your orders Truthy,to disrupt all the Town Hall Meetings....A Birther right here in River City, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha..talk about fools...

How have ya'll been? I haven't logged on here in so long, I don't even recognize some of the users. I've been a little out of touch with the news lately too - just get sick of hearing all the crap sometimes.

Talk to you later. The kid's go back to school next week so I should have a little more time to blog.Smiling

Thanks you guys. It's nice to be missed.

I'm working at Season Tickets (across from the hospital) on Tues., Wed., and Thursdays. It's nice to be just an employee and not have the stress of management. I do; however, miss Latitude greatly. I put a lot into that place and it was like losing a loved one when we closed. Then again...my stress level has dropped like the stock market on Black Tuesday and I have more time to spend at home and on myself.

Also been working on setting up a website for my artwork. I figure reaching an audience that large - there has to be someone that would buy my work. Smiling

What have you guys been up to? Did Bonkers ever make a come back? What about Hutch? How did his daughter do in the Governors Honors Program? What about Diva - has he been around the world in the last 80 days?

Yes, I'm here.

Are you still tired of the "crap?" Where, here?

It shouldn't be a big deal to photo your art and put it on here!
Couldn't appreciate the art, but could see the subject.

There are people on here who are always saying they want to help and pray---put them to work.

Primarily, I get tired of all the he said/she said in politics. I get tired of hearing the same old stories on the news. Politicians can be so much like children - after a while I just want to say: I don't care who hit whom first, just shut up and get along.

I know how you feel. When I came out here from the west coast I had to take a demotion and was no longer resposnible for my own business unit. Now that I'm older I'll stay put doing my little auditing job - tonight I'm in Seattle.

Anyways, Bonker$ is back, hutch is still here and Hack/diva claims to have given up on blogging. I wish he would come back.

Obamacrats - Solving the burdensome issues of overspending in the past by implementing some REAL overspending.

Make you wonder how many people realizing they are going to file bankruptcy go out and charge up as much debt as they possibly can prior to filing.
