Everytime I have been to Line Creek I have had great customer service from the owner, his son and their two full time employees. They have always said hello to me when I walk in the door, if they aren't busy they take my drinks to the car. Maybe its because I'm a young good looking girl who is nice or they really are nice to their customers. I was shocked reading this blog because it doesn't seem like them. I know the gas station next door keeps their gas prices high so that Wynnmeade residents will stay out of there cause they all steal, as the owner of the Chevron once said. Thats the real racist.

I can only hope if there is a shoot out you sorry A$$ is right in the middle of it. Just take your money and go else where. There are other stores, and you are obviously not wanted in this one. You are a HATEMONGER!

I am proud... proud that I will never be heaped into the same group as you. TRASH. You have screamed that to everyone that would listen. Did you have to look up the word HATEMONGER? You do not have the power to hurt my feelings. I never said I went to the store. You assumed that, and you know what that does... I am happy that you have gotten all the attention that you wanted/needed to make you feel powerful. I truly hope it makes you feel intelligent, because we all know that the louder you yell and the more you call people names, it just means that that is the only way you know to make yourself feel better. If you can’t fight back with intelligence, you will resort to bulling and name calling. Just remember...KEEP YOUR WORDS SWEET... YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN YOU WILL HAVE TO EAT THEM....and trust me...one day you will. By the way, I don't know where you come off calling me a whore. It is a free country and we all (yes that means you too) are allowed to express our opinions, however, some come from an educated perspective unlike yours. Not every one agrees with you. And those that don't must be crazies.... Not! It is a shame that you don’t spend more time doing good, not spreading hate. If you put this much energy into opening your own business and showing them how you think it should be done you would do more good for yourself and others. WOW… If you could only see yourself as we see you….

Here's one for your history book. "Wynnmeadean" is a race.

Submitted by Bonkers on Mon, 08/10/2009 - 1:45pm.

Wynnmeadian might be a race to some in PTC, I don't know--but I listed once all of the races that there are and that wasn't among them!
I am not familiar with that general area other than Walmart, Home Depot, and Five Guys! (and a way to go to Coweta County!)

Isn't the Centennial Section Homo Erectus?

Many a dollar has been made in the south with stores of various kinds
selling at high prices to people who were broke. They are usually convenient, control what is bought, and if not paid by payday--no more until paid! They used to wait until the cotton was sold and then the bill was usually more than what they got for the cotton---if the boll weevil didn't get the crop!

Same as the coal miners in Appalachia---- draw "script" all week and then only get paid whatever was left after the script advance was subtracted! Usually zero.

The script was only good at the company stores.

Now some of the non-thinkers on here are going to say what has a boll weevil got to do with a crappy liquor store!

The point of my post was to inform you that you needed to update your list based upon the post (Subject: Really) I was referring to. Beyond that, very enlightening response?????

I used to frequent this store to purchase beer for my weekend. After several times in their establishment and overhearing the father and son owners talk about their patrons I had to stop going. For them to speak so lowly of their faithful customers in front of anyone and everyone shocked me. I did learn however that Mrs. Smith buys a bottle of wine everyday (and she is already drunk when she comes in) and Mr. Brown has a real problem with his straight bourbon whiskey.

I think I met Mr. Brown this past weekend. I went into Line Creek Friday night and there was a guy at the counter trying to buy his second handle of Jack for the day. The clerk tried to refuse service to him for being to drunk but eventually she caved in.

I have gone to line creek a couple of times since Arnie's and Shamrock went out of business and they have always treated me politely. But I have witnessed them being rude to others and in those situations the people were wasted.

I'm new to PTC and stopped by to pick up some ice. All I wanted was ice on the way to a party. No one cussed at me but they were rude. I don't plan on returning, even if the rudness was free.

Thanks "I Love PTC", for telling us. I don't blog often, but I HAD to, today. Are you kidding me? He said that? Whatever! Customer service just stinks, everywhere, these days. I've never been there, but will make note of it, to not ever go there. I hope the owner reads this and fires that person, and apologizes to you. That clerk doesn't sound very educated, and that seems to be the problem at many places. I have taken many "customer services" classes, and 1 thing I always remember is, an unhappy customer will tell at least 40 people and a happy 1 may tell 2. I'm always quick to thank anyone who helps me, and I'll call and tell the manager, too. Anyway, I'm a lady, and a darn good-looking 1, too, (if I may say so myself Smiling..it's so ridiculous, of the lack of manners that men have, at a business, especially. How insulting! I'd like him to drop the "F bomb" on me, I'd probably ran. I know you'll be getting your cold ones, elsewhere. cheers!

i wish they could fire him but what makes the story even more sad is he is the owner. its the owner and his son. what a father right? like father like son. just trash!

Well I just can't resist. I'm heading to the package store today to see for myself. If I get that crap pulled on me he better have a gun to go along with those words or the quart beer I will have just bought will be upside his head. The Golden Rule will apply here.

I'm just say'n...

We also avoid shopping in this store. My husband and our daughter went to this store to make a rather large purchase for a New Year's Eve party. My husband is is his fifties and our daughter was 25 at the time. As my husband was the one purchasing the alcohol, my daughter did not bother to bring her wallet, and so did not have her ID with her. My daughter was told, rudely to leave the store. My husband said she was just there to help him carry out his purchases and assured the person behind the counter that she was indeed over 21. He was rudely told that if he didn't like their policies he could just leave - which he did. My husband and daughter lost nothing but time. The people at the store lost a large purchase and a potential repeat customer. Interesting business model.

Is someone lying here or is there people like that at Line Creek?

Do you NOT want to hear about it?

see no one is lying here. more and more people are coming out

is to deny any further patronage. In a time of declining sales for just about all businesses, I'm amazed these guys would display such a lack of customer service etiquette. Next time, try Brandon's. Way better folks there. Sorry you had to be subjected to such ignorance but it still exists in way too many people.

We like Katie's. The staff is really knowledgeable and friendly.

I will second that comment - I went in Katie's with my wife the other day and there was an older guy at the counter who was extremely nice and helpful. This was by far the best service I have ever received at a package store.

As for Line Crek Liquor - I also avoid them because of horrible past experience there. I used to live off MacDuff Pkwy, which is right next to line creek liquor, but I would drive past them to go to Hartigan's or one of the other stores that were around at the time. The owner and his son are complete jerks - it amazes me that anybody continues to go there.

OK,,,so just where is this Katie's I keep hearing about ?? ? ? ?

Submitted by DWKK07 on Sat, 08/15/2009 - 3:40pm.

It is behind the Bruster's and El Reposo (formerly Buckhead Brewery) on the east side of Peachtree City - close to Zaxby's and CVS. Across the street from Publix and Starbucks on Hwy 54. You can't really see it from the road, but it's there. I've only been a few times, but they seem to have some good prices. We got a bottle of one of my wife's favorite wines there the other day and it was on sale for a couple dollars cheaper than at grocery store surprisingly.

Good selection, great prices

Submitted by AtHomeGym on Wed, 08/05/2009 - 1:37pm.

Are few and far between these days--all combined in with AAFEES Exchanges. And the prices are not really that good--just no tax. I can buy wine cheaper at Brandon's and Rite Aid than the Class VI.

that I could peruse the aisles of the "Class V" store. There was always fun stuff to use in that store
