Sonnett to the Recession

Evil recession please stay as no worse
Depression to follow and drag down Europe,
Appears as of now to be sure and terse.
And if this is the case we cannot cope.

Our most revered originals are all but gone
GE, Chrysler, Lehman, AIG, BOA,& Delta pains
But spare us GE, 3M, AT&T, Ford, and a bone
So that we may someday collect some gains.

Then grant us a country mostly void of IT,
A scheme of things good only for petty noise
And hand back once again our brains to be.
If this were granted out would go the ploys.

Evil recession please start your improvement
That we can see demise of the TEA movement.

We never admit to a depression (so many periods of reduced production)until it is over. Then we say safely, "whew---glad that is gone---but of course it never really got bad!"

If anyone there knows where we are going to get 25-30 million jobs (amount we will eventually lose) within the next 2-3 years, please tell me where.

Not interested in fabricated jobs (of no benefit except to the job holder) such as adding 50 more cops or firefighters or teachers, and certainly not more government employees, and makers of F-22s we will never use in combat that costs millions per year to maintain.

OK, just be positive and maybe it won't hurt YOU so much.

I say line up everyone who doesn't have a job and give them one. Feed them three hots and give them a cot and doctor visits, so that they can spend what little we pay them. Only stipulation is that their job is labor and is making something we need to sell or provides the means to do so. (Farm idle land in Fayette County and sell the harvest inexpensively---just one.) No, not a communist commune. The land reverts when depression over.

Don't let the stinking banks sock it into investments that keep dividend drawers alive, spend it. Also, tax dividend and interest payment to individuals at 33% until depression over. They aren't going to work so tske some of the money.
