Fayetteville police are continuing to search an area off Hood Avenue for a man wanted in connection with a hit and run incident shortly after 3 p.m.

The suspect, identified as Termaine Johnson, was described as a black male a little over 6 feet tall wearing a white shirt. He was last seen running into a wooded area off Running Bear Trail.

A female who also ran away from the car was apprehended minutes later. Her name was not immediately available.

Would like more information on the "hit & run" as it becomes available John; Property damage? Was anyone hurt? Was the perp a Fayette county resident or (dare I say it) another Clayton County thug. Was the vehicle stolen?

As Ron White says; "You can't fix stupid". I hope Termaine enjoys his stay in the hoosegow.
