The manager of a local shipping store was arrested Wednesday after police determined he was stealing items shipped through the store.

Michael Sean Wilson, 21, of Wood Ridge, Peachtree City was charged with two counts of theft by taking (fiduciary). He was a manager at the Mail Room located at Westpark Walk shopping center, police said.

The case began when a victim reported June 15 that gift cards mailed to a charity organization were never received by the organization, police said. Police determined that Wilson removed the gift cards and made purchases with them.
Wilson is also accused of intercepting a camera that was sent through the store by a second victim.

Anyone with information about these or other incidents is asked to contact the Peachtree City Criminal Investigations Division at 770-631-2510, or the Crime and Narcotics Information Hotline at (770) 487-6010. You may remain anonymous.

One detail that John left out was that the Mail Room is going out of business this Wednesday. It has been around for over 15 years and was owned and operated very successfully by a long-time resident of PTC until she retired almost a year ago and sold it. Since the business was sold it has steadily gone downhill and now can't survive. For all of us who have used the Mail Room as a business and home mailing address for 10+ years it has been a painful process to watch the decline and demise of a PTC institution.

I, too, used the Mail Room quite often over the years, but not for the last year or so. All the ladies I dealt with there were always great. They always had a smile, were helpful and always professional. I enjoyed going in there. It is sad that the place is closing but sadder that this stigma is now attached to that place. It is good to know that it had been sold. I could not imagine that happening with the ladies I had always dealt with. I don't remember their names, but I do thank them for their years of service and their demeanor which always made my day a little brighter when I went in there.

(if there is a record).. I've done business at the Mail Room for years and have never had any problems. I've never seen this "manager" there at all. I've had nothing but good service there and will continue to use the Mail Room.

P.S. Was this guy some summer help or something? Seriously, I've never seen a guy there at all.

Thanks for catching the error. It has been fixed.

He was indeed the manager at the Mail Room at Westpark Walk.

Who is thisa gang to whom you refer?

I am not one of them as far as I know and I read you!

An "error," hard to believe.
How about this one? "A store was robbed today, two people were shot and some police are looking for them." "If you see anyone who looks as if they robbed something, somewhere, please call the police somewhere!"

And to think we were all so concerned when you weren't posting (silly us!). I can believe you never belonged to any gang, even as a boy. I can see it now--a nine year old playmate says "Hey, gang, wanna shoot some hoops?" and little Bonkie saying "Whatcha mean gang, I don't belong to no gang!". Glad you have all those alter-egos because life would be so lonely for you without them. Now y'all have a nice day, ya heah.

I'll just bet you have always followed the lead sheep, at least up to the cliff's edge, all of your life!

Anything to keep from thinking!

I have always been the leader whom others followed--or often walked beside. And you know something? They were/are all living, breathing, intelligent, kind, fun loving human beings. Not one alter ego among them. Try it sometime, you might like it. Nah, you wouldn't. You much prefer talking to yourself or making nasty blogs against others.
Now before you accuse me of doing the same--I only rattle your chain and that is because it is so much fun.

NOTICE: No one was injured in the making of this blog.

I thought you were a "positive" person. Guess not really! Easier to BS, isn't it? Who are all these egos you keep talking about?

PTC store manager arrested for parcel theft

As owner of 2 UPS Stores in Peachtree City I have been asked if the person above worked at either of my stores. This person hasn't never worked for either of my stores and the name of the store should be listed.
Thanks,
Robert Barton
Owner/ Manager

Shouldn't that be part of the story?
