Cyclist’s Excellent Adventure to Golden Corral.

Well the boss wanted to go there for breakfast this morning so what the boss wants the boss gets on vacation. (And come to think about it, all other times as well) So off we went to the corporate feed bag.

So we get to the place and take a seat near the food bar and then I noticed them; two small kids - under 10 - milling around the dessert bar without an adult. Well guess what these darling little ones did next. Into the several containers with "gummy bears" and other assorted goodies went their little grimy and grubby hands to fish out those so delectable little treats. And it didn't stop with one handful either as they made several rounds to ensure they got their satisfaction by cramming each handful into their little mouths. This is so YUCKY!!!!! I guess their parents where either preoccupied in the ensuing feeding frenzy and either did not notice or did not care.

Oh well, I got to go and tend to some pesky fish.

worked for some number of years as a restaurant/food establishment inspector. Got more horror stories of these places than I care to remember. It's what you DON'T see going on that'll really gross you out!

I quit going to those places mostly because I got tired of wading in food on the floor and eating out of pans where jokers had done what they done! Throw chicken and steaks back, mashed potatoes into the beans, etc. Grasy seats and tables and stolen chicken for supper by big pocket book ladies also played a part.
Stuff has to be served in some kind of professional way. People have NO MANNERS anymore.

Anyways, the weather and fishing has been just great. I can do about another week of this beach stuff. The toughest decision made during the day is "what's for dinner". I usually defer that to the boss. That's what the ring in my nose is for.
