Where your tax dollars are going

Another textbook example of why welfare should be completely done away with in this country.

Elimination of the welfare system is not the answer--and you will never eliminate ignorant dumb-asses. In this particular case, first, a court-ordered castration of the man and sterilization of the women. Place all the children in state-sponsored care. Court-ordered monitoring of the work ethic and performance of each brood mare and the brood stallion and garnish their wages to offset care of the children. Do I mean "forced labor"--damn right! And finally, Fred I can't believe you think or at least called Hutch a liberal. Just means you don't pay much attention or at least can't rationalize and compartmentalize when you do.

Just remember, and I'm not being mean, there was a time when the state did not provide any monetary support. And as they are about to figure out in California, welfare is not cheap. California is going to have to figure out just exactly what they can afford.

It just irks me to no end that this guy fathered 21 kids - I'm assuming it was only 21 - and leave it to the state to support. It's people like this that drain the resources and prevent those with real needs to get the help they need because of situations beyond their control.

But hey, I don't have the answer.

One government program I could support funding for would be to pay ignorant and irresponsible clowns like this $5000 - $10,000 to become neutered or spayed. Just think of the ROI us producing taxpayers would receive from that investment. And the individual being clipped or tied would have a nice chunk of change to stimulate the economy with to boot. Then these fine folks can breed each other all they want without having to get an abortion or saddle us taxpayers with the burden of raising their offspring which will more than likely perpetuate the problem like some Amway business model. I totally agree. I saw this story on the news last week and it was said that he worked a minimum wage job and his paycheck would be divided between all the children. That wouldn't be much for each child. I am wondering how or if they will monitor his work status, so that when he is making more money it goes straight to the children.

But then what happens if he loses his job or if he decides to quit? If they arrest him for nonsupport, then what? The children will be the ones who suffer. I still like the neuter solution best.

I'll admit that this is insane, but would you have these kids starve?, I'm serious here, do you propose to let these kids die of hunger. Do you blame the kids, or punish the kids, for the sins of the parents? What about the people who have worked all their lives and now have fallen on hard times? What is your solution?

I found this old post written by my now deceased father Wulfman and thought it was worth posting again.

Thanks to Wulfman and all of our employees we now have secured the funds needed to send all of Pam's children to college.

Please remember not everyone wants a hand out some only need a hand up.

JUST ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE

Several years ago Pam came to work for us; she was hired to work in our packaging department.

Pam at first glance is one of those people that have been discussed on this blog.

When Pam was fourteen she found her mother dead from an apparent drug overdose, she never knew her father and her mother never mentioned any family. At fourteen Pam was living on the streets of Atlanta.

Unfortunately she made a lot of mistakes drugs, prostitution among other things.
She delivered her first child at fifteen and two more by the time she was nineteen.
Three separate fathers none took care of their children.
Pam found herself alone with three children and living in a homeless shelter.

Within a couple months of being hired by us, Pam and her children moved from the shelter to a section eight apartment on MLK.

The apartment was in poor condition and in a very bad neighborhood but it was better than living at the shelter and having to take everything that she owned with her each morning because if she left anything someone would steal it.

Pam’s a great employee, positive attitude, hard worker, never late and will work as many hours as you will let her.

One morning Pam was crying and I asked what was wrong, she told me that while she and the children were sleeping the ceiling fell on top of them and raw sewage covered her and the children. The toilet in an upstairs apartment had been leaking for over a year and the owner refused to make the repair.

I felt like sticking the owners head in a toilet. After our little talk he did decide to move Pam and the children to another apartment that was in a little better condition. This guy was a true scum bag slum lord.

After years of hard work Pam has been able to purchase a HUD home for her and the children.

Everybody at our company White, Black, Hispanic and Asian helped Pam realize her dream some donated money, some donated furniture or other household items.

I don’t cry often and especially in public (man thing) but I must admit the day Pam and her children moved into her home the tears flowed.

Not everyone wants a hand out some only need a helping hand and are willing to work hard to make their dreams come true and appreciate the help that has been given.

We promoted Pam to a floor supervisor position last year she earned it.

Every morning Pam takes her children to day care and walks to the bus stop and starts her journey to work transferring buses two more times and walks ten blocks in the dark from the bus stop to our plant. Santa may have a surprise for her this year and maybe she won’t need to ride the bus anymore after Christmas.

The next part of Pam’s dream is to have her children attend college. (We) our company and employees will do our best to help make those dreams come true.

Folks there are a lot of dead beat people of all colors and nationalities that will leach off the system.

But there are a lot of people like Pam and her kids that are only looking for a hand up not a hand out. Please don’t throw them in with the dead beats.

Fred Garvin's picture

My solution would be for the Mommies and the Daddy to work their arses off and pay for these children's needs on their own without any help from other taxpayers. The point was, that welfare just perpetuates this kind of behavior.

So in your perfect world, if the parents for some reason can't support these kids, you say, just die. You're a real man Fred., a real man. Actually, you're kind of like that baby's alimentary canal yourself, and it ain't the appetite.

I already provided a solution - it just wasn't good enough for you bleeding heart, bed wetting liberals that expect cradle to grave taxpayer provided care.

You've got probably 5 or 6 mommies plus one daddy to take care of these kids. They should all be working at least 12 hours a day to provide for their children since it was their choice to bring them into the world.

The rest of us should not be burdened with their choice in life.
Comprende, jaggoff?

That's ok, I knew you had no answer, but I will give you this option, you want to call me that to my face, if you're really that brave, to get in this "bed wetting liberal's" face, just let me know, I ain't really a liberal, but I am a realist. What say Fred, you really that tough, or just a keyboard cowboy like Darth? Maybe you going to call Cal on m, huh?

BTW, I already used the baby's end thing on you, at least try to be original Darth, oh, I mean Fred.

Hutch,
In the immortal words of Jack Palance - "I crap bigger than you".
And I wouldn't waste my time on a bedwetting little pissant like yourself - I have more important things to do.

So you're a "realist", eh? So we have a guy who has fathered more than 20 babies with his harem of brood mares, and I'm the bad guy here?

It's just like you libs to demonize the messenger rather than address the real issue, which is that the leaches are beginning to outnumber the producers and the taxpayers are tapped out- we can't support them if we wanted to.

There's a little something called R-E-S-P-O-N-S-I-B-I-L-T-Y that the pissant bedwetters like yourself refuse to address. It's something that old codgers like myself take seriously and it pisses us off when we see irresponsible little punks like the baby daddy in the video just shrug off on to others. So just go piss-off, Hutch. I really could not care any less about what you think of me or what I have to say.

Take a deep breath and read the first question I asked, would you have those kids starve, there was no answer. Second question, do you blame the kids or punish the kids for the sins of the parents? Again no answer. Third question, what about the people who have worked all their lives and fallen on hard times? Guess what, again no answer, so in truth Fred, you never answered any of my questions you dodged around, and answered nothing, so get back to me when you have an original idea, do you and Dearth maybe inhabit the same basement?

I'll give you a little credit though, Freddy boy, at least you haven't gone crying to Cal, at least not yet anyway.
