I really hope that you are right, but I am seeing a more reactionary and mean world evolving. Europe is in the beginning stages of reacting to its huge an destabilizing immigration problem. I don't see much of the muslim world evolving in a good way either. Most likely a pogrom will happen again to the Jewish people within the next 50 years. The state of Isreal does not have birth rates and demographics on its side.

I don't know the details, but this and the recent painting of swastikas on private residences is discouraging. The actual hope for change is in the younger generation. The actual experience of extreme and unbridled hate still lives in the memory of many my age - regardless of their color or gender. The younger generation has a different role model before them. Museum guards returned fire and, fortunately, were able to wound and incapacitate him. Unfortunately, they did not kill him.

Perhaps the museum should eventually add this sorry incident to its exhibition to demonstrate that racial hatred is alive and well.

I just gave you examples from national people, but I can give you a parallel that I was in the region to see. My business takes me to California from time to time and I got to see the left's reaction to the constitutional amendment to end gay marriage. Nationally, there have only been two deportation stories within the past year that got any kind of news coverage--Obama's aunt and John Demjanyuk (alleged WWII war criminal). Now there is this third story. An 11 year old Polish girl with an American dad with late paperwork. Demjanyuk is now old hat since this is the second time being deported-now Isreal is alleging he is a different war criminal that heretofore. So let's look at Obama's Auntie and this little girl. How long has the Auntie been bouncing around here while "under consideration"? Now the deportation wheel of justice seems to be moving quicker with the 11 year old Polish girl. Why? Regardless of whether he is directly overseeing ICE or not, he has been wrong to allow this Aunt situation to continue. Why? Because of command influence and an appearance of impropriety. Maybe the wheels are turning slower for her because the underlings want to bend over backwards for the President. He should recognize that and squash it like a bug.

We need to have leaders that hold themselves accountable to the equal application of the law. whether that be a county commissioner or President of the United States. Now that is some change that I want to believe in--leaders that hold themselves accountable to the people, the constitution, and the law.

Again, should our president now get involved in immigration cases? I think he has bigger fish to fry. And I don't believe calls to ICE either for or against his relatives are in his job description. Just my opinion. I do know that an honest debate does not start with "It's because she is white and the other is black." That is divisive and dishonest. Not surprising given the source.

But our President is involved in immigration issues. His Aunt is in the process. As such, he should have taken an active role to ensure that the wheels of justice are equally applied for common 11 year olds and relatives of the POTUS. It is only of race due to the demographics involved. He has allowed this appearance of impropriety to fester. He is smarter than that.

Obama's job creation plan will take 5-10 years to get back to 4-5% unemployment. It has to go to 20-25% first!
