Flames engulf parked car at Checkers

Checkers car fire 8-8-09

A parked car somehow caught on fire just before 2 p.m. at the Checkers restaurant in downtown Fayetteville.

Fayetteville fire crews promptly responded and quickly knocked out the flames. It is not believed that anyone was hurt.

The cause of the fire will be investigated by the Fayetteville Fire Department.

Have you ever felt the ground rumbling and vibrating when the radio is on rap or heavy metal rock. Lots of friction. or maybe it was somebody who was tired of the whole city of Fayetteville vibrating.
I've seen the time when I would have thrown a fire bomb if i'd had one.

That reminds me of the same incident when the car caught on fire while the engine was idling. The fire department said that the parts like amplifier, shocks, air suspension that required hot leads to the battery is where the fire originated.

Cars often catch fire, electrical or fuel leak.
