From the AP:

President Barack Obama says he's open to requiring all Americans to buy health insurance, as long as the plan provides a "hardship waiver" to exempt poor people from having to pay.

And will this scheme provide health care for those here illegally and cannot pay?

The talking point I always hear is 60 million Americans don't have health care ****sob****
What they don't tell you however is that 20 Million of the 60 million are the self-insured.. another 20 million of the 40 million left are the Young who opt out of buying health insurance so they can buy a new pair of pants that don't fit.. The other 20 million that really do not have health insurance have complete access to free healthcare already and most of these are the illegal "ALIENS" that are here "ILLEGALLY" Did I mention they BROKE OUR LAWS TO BE HERE.. SO why in heck do I have to pay for their healthcare??? Those that truly need assistance GIVE IT TO THEM.. Just don't make the rest of us pay for the lazy bums that just want a free ride.. or the ILLEGAL "persons" here that should not have the American Taxpayer pay for anything but a free ride HOME...

You are right about the numbers.

This whole scheme is going to unravel because there are no controls. And if controls were mentioned say against those without proper documentation (I'm being PC here) then "Demos" have excluded potential............voters! We all know, it's all about getting the votes. Heaven forbid if a Repub says it's too expensive. He'll be stamped as a exclusionist.

You know, Italy has a socialized medical scheme. They also have a national ID card to prevent those illegally in that country from receiving state aid. Will that ever happen here?

The FBI stated they are trying.. "TRYING" to come up with a way to track all of the "Stimulus" money.. Seems Billions are unaccounted for..BILLIONS can I yell that any LOUDER...
Nationalized Healthcare will be another Goverment uncontrolled SUCKING BLACK HOLE for our money to go into.. that is if there is any left after these clowns are done with Cap and Trade taxes.. VAT Taxes... Carbon Taxes...Wealth Taxes... Envy Taxes... Fat Taxes... et al...
