I still can't find out why the old van was on the field, and blocked part of the view!

I saw pictures of Whitewater graduation, they had a flyover, big screen, & fireworks! I have nothing against Whitewater HS, have family there. FCHS had nothing like that! Wonder why???

My blog is probably buried somewhere by now! My comment was about what the speaker said, not how he spoke. He spoke very clearly!
He wasn't received well by anyone sitting near me & my family. I believe most of his speech was totally inappropriate. His speech should have been about the graduating class, not his political views.

It's just not worth the argument with the local multicultural cheering committee to say how poorly some of the speakers (and Principals) enunciated words like ask, success, last, and a few others.

Let's just say the "ebonics" is alive and well in the administrative offices here in Fayette County.

Our relatives commented on the Starr's mill Graduation and it was not flattering.

Do you think the person taking these pictures should think about how many blacks/whites/browns/reds are in the frame before they shoot?

It would be great, but it'll not happen in yours or my lifetime and doubt very seriously it'll happen in our childrens'. Especially with all the finger pointing on who caused this declining economy, who are the real criminal elements, who is after my money and who is taking our jobs. We are a nation of blame-ascribers. So long as we can find the "person or persons responsible" for what ever happened in our past or present, that's all we're focused on. We fight and belittle one another with our demonstrably intellectual superiority, but in reality we're all on this same sinking ship.

The point was to highlight the demographic shift that's going on in Fayette County.

Upon a real quick count I got:

22 Whites
18 Blacks
And I think 1 Yeller

Was I close? Did I win anything? What was the point of my counting?

Not a single Asian? So, is there anyone here who believes that is an accurate make up of the Fayette County School System? A generous account of the SUBJECT of each picture gives me a count of 9 Black, 5 White and NO Asian or Hispanics.
