Kelly R. Williams

Kelly R. Williams, Peachtree City, died May 23, 2009, after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou Ranes Williams in 2004, and a brother, Kerry, in 2008.He was born Aug. 22, 1961. He grew up in Posey County, Ind., graduating North Posey High School in 1979. He went to the University of Southern Indiana on a full basketball scholarship. After graduation, he played professional basketball in Stockholm, Sweden. He then worked in the poly resin supply industry for over 20 years and was owner of Alliance Polymers, Inc. in Peachtree City. He enjoyed recreational tennis and was a member of ALTA and USTA, playing regularly at the Peachtree City Tennis Center.

Services are today, May 27, at the Carl J. Mowell chapel at 6 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Mary Williams, Peachtree City; a son, Konnor, age 11; father, Robert Williams, Peachtree City; aunts and uncles, Agnes Morton, Poseyville, Ind., Genieve and Everett Williams, Wadesville, Ind., and Agnes and Bill Williams, Clearwater, Fla. Memorial donations may be made to the Trust Fund for Konnor Williams, at Regions Bank, Peachtree City. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.

He was still and awfully young man. One has to wonder what the cause of death was. God's speed to the family and extended family and friends.

I am so sorry for your loss. "Coney" will be missed by his ISUE family and friends. You are in our hearts and prayers.
