Towne Club, a luxury apartment complex for adults 50 and up, has been named the tops in its housing class nationwide.

The gold award was presented recently by the National Association of Home Builders as part of its “Best of 50+ Housing Awards.” Towne Club was named the country’s best “multi family rental 50+ community” in the market rate division.

Located at the intersection of Crosstown Road and Peachtree Parkway, Towne Club offers a unique variety of living enhancements for residents including a pool with a swim-up bar, underground parking for golf cars and a host of other features included with the monthly rent.

In addition to an indoor dining room with a sunken lower-height bar, Towne Club also has fireplaces throughout the building to serve as gathering areas for residents.

The pool area at night is lit with music in the background and fountains to add to Towne Club’s ambiance.

The 145-unit development also offers chauffeured service throughout town along with activities for residents including trips into metro Atlanta for events.

Towne Club was a development years in the making and was eventually brought forth by Almquist Hansen, LLC. The architectural firm, Niles Bolton Associates, also handled interior design.

emptiest parking lot of any multi-family building in all of Georgia. If this had been built on the Hwy 54 West corridor, we would not need another traffic light, nor would we need any lights at all. Oh, well....

But, it IS a sign of hope for the residents of Harmony Village next door to have a place to move to when they get older.

The 4 tenants left in the luxury Braelinn Village Shopping Center across the road are thrilled with the masses of rich people coming over in their chauffeur driven limo to spend their millions at Cardsmart and Kmart. The shopping center has even hired a golf cart concierge who spends his day discretely in the back of the center napping, and then appears occasionally with a grabber to lean over and scoop up the cigarette butts left behind by the filthy rich people.

Now, if I ONLY had that 3 to 4 thousand a month to pay my rent at Towne Club, I, too could be enjoying this award winning lifestyle. Darn..

To the Towne Club owners, we are thrilled you have embraced the Peachtree City motto.."Plan To Stay".

To the five (give or take a few) residents of Towne Club, "Welcome Home".

As James Carville famously said - It is the economy, stupid.

If they opened just a year earlier they would be filled up by now. They'll be fine as soon as the housing market picks up. Hope their banker is a patient sort. Towne Club is extremely nice.

Braelinn Village center is more of a challenge. When they finally decide to lower their rates and give bonuses to Realtors it will be successful.

I'm amazed at the stuff people can fine to bitch about on here. I suspect if you handed them a $100 bill they'd complain if it was wrinkled.
