4th Geneva Convention

Have we (US) adhered to the Geneva Convention? Will our allies cooperate with us in accepting Gitmo detainees? Why were the 500 or so detainees released under the Bush Administration? Where did they go? Why have only 3 detainees been tried under military tribunal?

These are not rhetorical questions. Looking forward to answers. Thanks.
