Article on Walt and Margret Banks

The article touched my heart and made my day. I am Walt and Margret's youngest daughter. It is nice to know that my parents are remembered by others outside our family. My parents were incredible people and raised us in love. They touched the lives of many people.

Just a note to say Greer's Mountain was named after my mother not Cousin Wyatt. Mamma was a Greer and Chip wanted to honor her by allowing her to name the mountain. I was there when she told him she wanted the name Greer.

Dr. Green.... I enjoyed reading that article about your family as well. I was wondering if that little house on the left, as you enter the Greer's Mountain subdivision, is owned by your family? It's for sale now but we thought it might be part of the original homestead?
