On ZIP changes, P.O. says, ‘Not my job’Tue, 05/19/2009 - 2:48pm

I have been trying to get information about the ZIP code changes that are due in the next month. My ZIP code is currently 30296 and it MAY change to 30214, but I have never seen a list of the streets that are being affected. I went over to the Fayetteville Post Office and all I am told is, “That is not my job.” My wife is the church secretary and she needs to change the church directory. Our house is also a mail drop for certain medical missionaries who are out of country and want to maintain a Georgia address for medical licensing reasons. We need to get change of addresses in for them as well. I am with the Fayette Samaritans and we have to change our records and get the clients to change their drivers’ licenses. Could you be able to pry a list of the streets that are going to be affected and please publish such a list, including when the changes are going to take place? I am amazed at the number of people in the area that is going to be changed that are not even aware that this is taking place. If you have published such a list, I apologize. It is just that I have googled this change on the Postal Service website and everywhere else and can not find the information.
