A 23-year-old Senoia man was practically caught in the act of “tagging” part of the Flat Creek Nature Trail with graffiti Wednesday night, police said.

When officers arrived, the paint was still wet to the touch and Peter John Luker, 23, of Stoneridge Way, Senoia had stencils and paint pens in his possession, police said.

Officers also noticed paint on Luker’s hands, police said. Luker was arrested at the scene and charged not just for the graffiti but also for marijuana possession, police said.

Detectives are investigating whether Luker might be linked to other graffiti in the city, police said.

Officers were sent to the nature area behind the city’s amphitheater after someone called 911 and reported seeing Luker with a can of spray paint in his possession, police said.

The incident occurred just after 8 p.m. and officers first spotted Luker’s golf cart upon entering the nature area, police said. It is not immediately known if Luker drove his golf cart from his Senoia residence.

Thanks to the resident who was smart enough to see and report the spray paint can. We need more of this on the cart paths.

Too bad the Senoia man could not mess up his own city, and had to come pay us a visit.

Those people do not pay taxes here and they use our paths. Let's keep them out or charge a fee,

A cow can't eat a county!

Why not ban everyone else from coming into your "precious" city? If you would like to keep out the revenue that is brought in from the surrounding counties, then by all means keep us out.

Oh, wait a minute. That's right over half of your shopping centers are completely empty!

Typical uppity PTC snobbery.

Because a cow is not big enough!

We don't need your revenue, I'd rather pay higher taxes.

Then keep all your bicyclists off our Coweta county and Senoia roads. I know for a fact a lot of PTC people ride around out here in the country. I'm kidding-they help to keep businesses in Senoia open. Why can't you be the same with your city? I think it's funny that nowhere else has this mentality like PTC-that it's a foreign country and you need passport, vaccinations, and work visa to transition through the area.

Speaking of typical...

For over a decade, we've been asking for a path on Spear Road and no one gives a tinker's darn.

We ought to give that idiot 6 months of cleaning all the toilets on the ball fields with a toothbrush as punishment.

Vote Republican

That fella right there off of Spear Road and Robinson has a little Bobcat. I've seen when driving by. With the right attachment, it would cut a nice path.
