New to PTC

First day here... I want to start by saying hoo-ah! nice city well maintained. I was told by some that the worat of PTC was the US Postal service and of corse cable. Wow I was told that at the post office they were so rude thta people went outside to mail...no worry I only mail once a year...state taxes...post office is so behind US standards. Well I'm having my house hold goods delivered and here comes the mail person. I saw he went around the delivery truck and stopped at the neighbor. So I went to him and asked anything for XXX he was so rude and unfriendly I was taken aback...he asked whose parked here. I said the movers...duh! he was so rude. Now perhaps he was consipated this mornimg but I noticed he was afederal employee in uniform like me. The movers even commented... I was at first embarassed and then ashaned as a fed empl in uniform. Again I thought okay he consipated this morning on his run to blueberry hill...then I thought well if not then it is simply a matter of poor leadership at the post office in PTC... anyone know who is in charge? I am new but then I heard it was bad then first day I experience this?Puzzled? Someone help me out do we need to do something here....I believe in community and if it is islotale then lets get this guy out of here.

What about federal taxes? I have to pay them 4 times a year plus the whole April 15 thing.

I think federal taxes help pay for the post office, so maybe if you don't pay those taxes they give you a different level of service.

If you file your federal income tax return electronically, you'll avoid paying postage.

When it comes to paying the federal taxes themselves (as with your quarterly estimated tax payments plus any balance on April 15), you can use the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS), which is very convenient and similar to paying other bills electronically. The website to go to is www.eftps.gov.

Considering the spelling in the post that triggered your comment, I am indeed surprised that its author would have the intelligence to avoid paying postage through an EFTPS account.

If you don't speak any better than you write, I'm not surprised you got treated that way. But USPS employees don't exactly have a track record of being great community relations champions. I don't know what "uniform" you wear, but Feds just ain't all the same--shouldn't be a big surprise.

AthomeGym, yes the writing was bad. I was using a portable limited keyboard and did not realize that there was not a spell check. I will attempt to improve (Andrew Jackson when critized for his spelling replied "I never trusted a man that could only figure out one way to spell a word"). The point was that the negative I heard about PTC revolved around the postal service and then the first day I have this experience. I was only trying to get a vibe on PTC to see if I should take this further or it was just a "bad day". I plan to see how today goes. The reference to Da Hood by one person was interesting.

Well, We all have our days, don't we. You still didn't reveal which uniform you wear. Hope your future experiences are better.
