Tyrone Manager Venice Sues Fayette Co.
Tyrone’s Town manager Chris Venice is suing the Fayette Commission for sexual discrimination over her firing as County Administrator in 2007. Venice alleges that if she had been a male, the firing would not have occurred. The suit which was filed in Federal Court asks Judge Jack Camp for punitive damages.
If Venice is so concerned about discrimination, why as Tyrone Manager she supports all the discrimination against the businesses and citizens on Tyrone? There have been two lawsuits in Tyrone since she took over in 2008, and other discriminations against applicants for business licenses and zoning applications.
If Venice thinks Judge Camp is going to be fair, she has another thought coming. Judge Camp runs the worst court imaginable. He doesn’t manage cases, ignores federal procedural law and by the admission of his own case manager, doesn’t consider civil suits as being important. In addition, he is biased and doesn’t apply the correct law to his orders. Ms. Venice’s only hope is that he will be biased in her favor. And if so, his unlawful ruling will be struck down in Appeals Court. Thereby, dragging the case out forever, until Venice can no longer afford attorneys fees and gives up. Same thing Venice and her council cohorts do to citizens of Tyrone. And for this good work Venice earns $102,000, paid for by the taxpayers.
According to other Fayette employees working under her, she was fired not for discrimination, but because she did poor work on her tax paid $128,000 salary, same as in Tyrone.
