Congressional Black Caucus members praise Castro

In a statement following the meeting today, Castro said that the delegation had expressed to him that a segment of American society “continues to be racist,” and is at least partly to blame for the travel restrictions.

But the delegation this evening said those remarks were not expressed in the meeting.

“That did not happen,” Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-Mo.), told reporters.

I hate to admit it, but in this case, I believe Castro. The CWC (Congressional White Congress) could not be reached for comment because, well, it doesn't exist.

Whatever racism exists has nothing to do with current trade and travel restrictions with Cuba. It's all related to Communisn and it's way past time we eliminate those restrictions. For God's sake, look at what we do with Communist China! I believe most Cubans will cross over to capitalism with ease once they discover routine access to goods and services for daily life. They would flourish with the tourism that would arise from open travel.

The United States of America"

Oh yeah, I like that idea. The dictators Raoul and Fidel would absolutely let Cubans "cross over to capitalism". Sure, why not.

Hey AtHomeGym, do you speak Cuban as well as barry speaks Austrian?
