Isn't Websleuths the website that had an administrator outed for a past child sex abuse conviction? Windchime? I wish LTWH wouldn't associate so much with them.

Ahh the trolls are out I can see. On the upside it sounds like a great way to get some focus on something really important, like missing people.

No. It's a shame that they haven't aligned themselves with a local law enforcement agency. That's all. People would be more willing to go to an event sponsored by the local LE than a website that has been in the news. That's all. They would get more turnout and exposure. Is it wrong to think that?

How do I know you are not a pedophile? Because you tell me your not? Or because you are so righteous in your judgment of others?

Websleuths was not convicted of child sex abuse. LTWH was not convicted of child sex abuse. An individual committed a crime than chose to deceive others by not revealing her past.

We are all vulnerable to this happening when we develop relationships on the Internet. Look at you and I right now. I am using my real name. You are using HoochieWagon. Why the need to hide behind a username? Because you don't want people to know who you are in real life. Neither did WindChime.

On the Internet it's not about what you know, it's about what you do when you know.

In the case of WindChime, Websleuth responded properly by banning her from the site.

It's just a bit too early to be going into the community, that's all. Honestly, after all of this has happened, and the defending of Windchime by her sister on the site, have the volunteers had a background check? I am just curious. Maybe you could shed some light?

I don't know why you had to go through the whole username diatribe Jeanne. It was just an opinion. LTWH could do really well with better resources. There is a need for this type of organization in GA.

are so focused on this WindChime's life that you've lost sight of the fact that it is NEVER too early to bring awareness to missing persons.

So why don't we do right by the community and put the focus back on Lighting the Way Home. And why don't you consider putting your concern into action by being present Saturday and helping to meet the need for an organization like LTWH in GA.

So, this Saturday, Apr. 4, Lighting the Way Home will hold a free family event designed to draw attention to the plight of missing people all over the United States.

It is for Parents & Grandparents, Adults & Children. The events main purpose is so Lighting the Way Home can provide free identification cards as well as other tips in case a loved one goes missing.

As scary as it may be to be proactive, being prepared in case a loved one goes missing is no different than any other protective measure we take in life. Since the majority of missing persons in the US are of teen & adult age, utilizing this proactive measure is encouraged for all. I have my family members ID profiles in place. Six children, 4 children-in-laws, 7 grandchildren, a husband AND an ex-husband LOL

HoochieWagon, come out and help. We cannot control everything or everyone that enters into our life but we can control what we do with our life.
