Emmy Award winning casting company Fincannon & Associates announced today that they are on a search for background talent for the upcoming television series "Drop Dead Diva," while being shot in and around Peachtree City, Ga. "We are looking for background extras of all ages and ethnicities to kick start our new series," said Mark Fincannon.

"Drop Dead Diva" centers on a beautiful-but-vapid model wannabe who, after dying in a car accident, is reincarnated in the body of Jane Bingum (Brooke Elliott), a brilliant, thoughtful and overweight attorney. It's the type of show that truly enhances the Lifetime brand -- the duality of emotionally compelling drama with an equal balance of humor.

The open call will be held, Saturday and Sunday, April 4 and 5 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Ashley Park Shopping Center located off the Newnan Exit 47 at Highway 34 and Newnan Cross Bypass. The casting call will be in building 326, next to Verizon Wireless in Ashley Park. No experience necessary.

If you are interested in being a background extra for this new series please come with a recent photo of yourself or $2 to have a photo taken.
