To Let Me Educate You

Sorry - I guess the part of the crime I don't feel was proven was that the victim did not give her consent or withdrew her consent. Every single person, and more coming forward every day as they hear about the case, can remember her bragging about the sex - even giving graphic details about it. I'm sorry - it didn't become rape until her partents found out she was still dating Mr. Evans.

It became rape when the victim said "no, you should go" and the offender did not stop.

One popular fallacy is that rape victims must fight their attacker in order for it to be a true rape.

The "CSI Effect" has brainwashed people into thinking some sort of physical evidence must exist (i.e.- torn clothing, bruised uterus, cut vagina, choke marks on the throat, scratch marks on the attacker or torn clothing).

All the victim has to do is say "No" or "Stop."

It is easy for someone to say, "If that was me, I would have tried to bite his penis off..." If you are the one being attacked, I think you might be more worried about what happens AFTER the rapist is done. Instead of trying to think of ways to hurt their attacker, the victim is probably thinking, "Oh my God, he's going to kill me once he is done."

I'm not personally attacking you TTurner, I just want you to realize that most rape victims don't fight back; and just because they don't fight back doesn't mean that the assault doesn't deserve to be titled a rape.
