Well Dana, don't look now but your ignorance is showing. You seem to be spouting the memorized lines from the mainstream media. HHMMM, Brainwashed, sheep herders, you seem to be falling in line. You seem to have contracted "Bush Derangement Syndrome".

In case you did not notice, congress has been controlled by Democrats for quite some time. Bush was hog tied for the last two years of his administration. Now you not only have your congress, you have Chicago in Washington! WAKE UP AND LEARN!

I lived in the Chicago area and know how things work there under essentially a one party system. I was active politically there undoing illegal vote recounts etc. Let me list a few of my observations:

1 . The White House has moved the census from the commerce department to the White House. – This is so that they can manipulate the counts to give liberal areas of the country more representation.
2 . They are trying to pass a bill against secret union ballots sometime this week. You haven’t lived until you have had a union boss poke you in the sternum with his index finger and tell you to “join up or get your legs broken”! I worked construction in Chi-town and it happened to me.
3 . Tim Geitner, the new treasury chief, and tax cheat, is way over his head. The man is incompetent at best. One day he said he was against the Chinese proposal to go to a global currency, and the next day said it was something to be considered. We lose control of our currency value – we lose our country.
4 . Congress passed a law yesterday expanding the “Americorps”, and the talk is of expanding it so all youth must serve. I wonder if they will wear brown uniforms like the Hitler youth??? Frankly the government has done so well with so many things, I really want them to stay away from my kids! My job is to raise them, not the governments.
5 . They want to give the liberal welfare state of Washington D.C. will get representatives = more liberal congressmen. D.C. is supposed to remain neutral.
6 . The president has already closed up oil exploration again by presidential decree.
7 . The budget he submitted along with the bailout bills were railroaded through so fast that nobody could read through them. Then when the opposition would not vote for them, they were branded as, “un-patriotic” and “not sympathetic to the people’s needs”.
8 . If it is not here yet, it will be soon. The Freedom of choice act states that all hospitals MUST offer abortions on demand with no parental notification. If a baby survives a botched abortion it cannot be revived or the nurse can be sued. The Catholics have threatened to close all their hospitals if this becomes law.
9 . According to the tax charts from the Clinton years, a family of four making $50,000.00 a year will pay $2,500.00 more in taxes once the tax cuts from the Bush years get repealed.
10 . This president stated two days ago that the Republicans are not bringing any new ideas forward for budgets. This is not true, they are, but they are being hidden by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.
11 . According to a recent audit by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), President Barack Obama's budget would produce more than four times the deficits of Republican George W. Bush's presidency.
12 . Also, White House budget Chief Peter Orszag, acknowledged that if the CBO projections prove accurate, Obama's budget would produce deficits that could not be sustained.

Now when I lived in Germany, I talked to a lot of old people there. They gave me the formula for how Hitler took over the country. Here it is, and see if it does not sound familiar:

a. Put the government in extreme debt.
b. Start printing a lot of money so that hyper inflation takes hold.
c. Declare a state of emergency so the people want the government to take control out of fear.
d. The government then takes control and nationalizes the banks and businesses.
e. The government rallies the people by creating an enemy – The Nazi’s chose the Jews – They had the money.
f. The people blindly follow until they lose all of their freedoms, and they don’t know it until it is too late.

As you can see we are already at step c. Step d is in process. Step e is in process, the enemies chosen are: Rich people, Conservative media hosts, Conservative churches, and Conservative Republicans.

If you know history, these steps work. Once the Nazis had control they perpetrated on of the greatest abominations of the modern age. Don’t you think it would be prudent to put up a fight and try to stop a lot of people from being repressed and the constitution trampled.

Us every day guys are on the move, and we are not going to wait for things to get beyond hope. We can’t sit around any longer. If you think it can’t happen here, think again. There were goon squads during Woodrow Wilson’s presidency!

For crying out loud stop the Bush derangement, and start opening your eyes!

Where was this letter 5 or 6 years ago? Or even two years ago? Bush very well may have destroyed the Republican party with his big government, neo-con ways, but he received no help or support from the Democractic side during that time. Did you support our previous President, and write letters wishing for all his detractors to please forgo attacks and get along? If you did, kudos to you because you did not exhibit hyprocrisy. I suspect that you did not support the previous President. You were glad for the attacks because it felt good viscerally. In any case, what would you have a person like me do? I work and pay my taxes. I care for a limited government with limited powers. I am not seeing us head in that direction. I am not shrill, but I am not stupid either. I will hold my counsel, but will resist with pen or sword if and when an eventual tyranny raises its head in the coming decades.

We all know the Obama Left-Wing mantra - it's all Bush's fault. Never mind that there has been a democrat controlled congress and senate in place for 2+ years, the Republicans are to blame for everything.

You know, you should stop huddling around barry's teleprompter and start thinking for yourself.

Maybe we could get behind king barry if he would simply live up to his campaign promises by not hiring lobbyists, holding people accountable, stop hiring tax cheats, and pushing bipartisan legislation.

King barry's actions prove that he can't be trusted at his word. He's nothing but a pathological liar with a teleprompter.
