NO EXCUSE

I am suppose to be the other woman (affair) that this article falsely accuses Mr. Coursey of being involved with. Truth of the matter is, I never was, nor had an affair with her husband, although Ms. Coursey tried several times to get us to all commit to acts of sexual misconduct. I was her best friend for well over 20 years, and when I found out about the divorce impending, I tried for months to contact her as a friend to no avail. Friends stand loyal. She wouldn't accept my phone calls , although several attempts were made. I did ask her husband to get in touch with me after my Mother passed away, thinking this would get her attention. It didn't. I never had an affair with her husband. She can blame or justify anything in her mind whatever she conjures up. There is absolutely no exception of being so incapacitated that justifies starting a fire that almost took her grand kids lives. Nor her husbands. I don't care how bad the marriage was, there is no excuse. She would have succeeded if the ramps in the garage had not fallen and awakened her. If that doesn't give a awakening call to quit doing alcoholic binges, I have no idea what would. Her husband put the fire out himself, and was smart enough to call the fire department to get a report, to make sure they knew the truth. He was a fire fighter for over 30 odd years and saw many people killed by fires, and saved many lives. He was asleep with the grand kids and another innocent child. After being awaken (thank God) he put the fire out himself, then called the fire department. He got everyone out to safety, first and foremost. He tried looking past his wives problem, and even tried getting her help, even though she tried to take all the lives in the house. She said she would get help, and then after a few AA classes , gave up. For the life of me I can't understand why a grandmother would not give this the utmost thought. I don't care if my husband was with any number of women, that's grounds for divorce, but no reason to put innocent people in harm. I would never put my grand kids in harm, due to my selfishness of drinking. I'm very thankful everyone did get out alive. The wake up call for Ms. Coursey never came and still remains a lie of denial. There was never an affair of her husband with her best friend. She can try to justify it anyway she want's. Right is right, wrong is wrong, and it will always find you in the end. I hate it all happened . Fact of the matter , face up and don't drink another drop, don't lie, be glad the grand kids are alive, and her ex husband no matter what kind of disagreements they ever had. Learn from your mistakes and don't blame other people for your actions. Taking responsibility for what you do are the keys to learning, and every goal that she could ever achieve in life.. I wish all concerned the best life has to offer. TRUTH WILL ALWAYS PREVAIL!
