Fayette sheriff's deputies arrested four men Friday afternoon after they ditched a car on Shamrock Drive near Whitewater High School.

The four men were arrested for prowling but their vehicle matched the description of a car whose occupants were trying to pass fraudulent checks at several Fayetteville banks, police said.

Arrested and charged with loitering/prowling were:

• Joshua Jermaine Darling, 29, of Scott Drive, College Park;

• Craig Bouval Frazier, 24, of Scott Court, Forest Park;

• Chadrick Devon Murphy, 20, of North 33rd Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and

• Moses Tremaine Snell, 29, of East Duffy Street, Savannah.

Whitewater High School was briefly placed on lockdown while deputies hunted for the suspects.

Three of the suspects were found together walking down a nearby road but could not explain where they were going, police said. A fourth suspect was arrested nearby and despite denying that he knew the other three, his cellphone had one of the other suspects' phone numbers stored, police said.

It’s a shame Travis Hardware is not open on the square, could have tried them for trespassing in Fayette County, got several nice long strands of rope from the back of the store walked them over to those beautiful oak trees around the court house and ……..

Nothing new here, more and more crime is coming to Fayette County.. At least 4 are in custody, and no one was harmed in doing so in the community.

Good job, now get the county roads cleaned up by stopping those who operate cars, trucks etc without a drivers lisc.

Whoever called it in good job, I had a good friend that used to live on shamrock, and if memory serves correctly thats a dead end street. So folks who live there know who belongs and who does not. Keep up the good work send em packing or let em lay in chalk....PEACE..
