Fayette sheriff's deputies arrested four men Friday afternoon after they ditched a car on Shamrock Drive near Whitewater High School. The four men were arrested for prowling but their vehicle matched the description of a car whose occupants were trying to pass fraudulent checks at several Fayetteville banks, police said. Arrested and charged with loitering/prowling were: • Joshua Jermaine Darling, 29, of Scott Drive, College Park; • Craig Bouval Frazier, 24, of Scott Court, Forest Park; • Chadrick Devon Murphy, 20, of North 33rd Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and • Moses Tremaine Snell, 29, of East Duffy Street, Savannah. Whitewater High School was briefly placed on lockdown while deputies hunted for the suspects. Three of the suspects were found together walking down a nearby road but could not explain where they were going, police said. A fourth suspect was arrested nearby and despite denying that he knew the other three, his cellphone had one of the other suspects' phone numbers stored, police said. login to post comments |
