A Peachtree City man was arrested Wednesday for briefly holding his girlfriend against her will at his home on Meadow Court, police said.

Paul Graddy, 28, of 101 Meadow Court, is accused of not allowing the victim to leave a bedroom, police said. The victim was able to leave the room and the house safely and went to a nearby friend’s house, police said.

Graddy told police that he loved the victim so much that he “wanted to try and work it out,” police said.

The incident occurred Tuesday evening and police went to arrest Graddy on Wednesday after warrants were signed. Graddy then tried to flee on foot and was apprehended near Wynnmeade Parkway, police said.

Graddy is charged with false imprisonment and obstruction of a police officer.

How times have we heard this same ole story, I love her sooo much, etc etc. So lcoking her in the bedroom was the way to show her love?

Another bad situation, that can turn deadly in a heart beat.
