Obama, Geithner Get Low Grades From Economists

Of course, that's to be expected when you have a class warfare, lying, socialist running the country and a miserable little tax cheat running the IRS...

Or failed to understand it.

The economists want the government to do more. They want a bailout of the banks. If Obama follows their advice, Fred will be apoplectic.

...he just makes up his own version of them. The fact of the matter is that the majority of economists agree that no stimulus was required at all, and that we would have been better off without barry's spending/pork bill.

The article clearly states the following:

"Some 43% said the U.S. will need another stimulus package on the order of nearly $500 billion. Others were skeptical of the need for stimulus at all."

A small minority of the economists want more. Didn't you read the entire article, or did you skip over that part????

I guess you took the 43% who thought the U.S will need ANOTHER stimulus package, subtracted that from 100% ,and then created the “fact” that the majority were skeptical of the need for the INITIAL stimulus package.

Continue reading 'till close to the bottom where it says: “The economists didn't just single out the U.S. for criticism; 70% of participants said the response of governments around the world to the global recession has been inadequate.”

Does that sound like, as you say, “The fact of the matter is that the majority of economists agree that no stimulus was required at all, and that we would have been better off without barry's spending/pork bill”?

That's exactly what it says Jeff. Did you even take the time to read the article, or did you stop when it said that 43% of the economists wanted more?

The WALL STREET JOURNAL article (not Newsmax as you lied about previously) clearly states "70% of participants said the response of governments around the world to the global recession has been inadequate". In the U.S., it means that the obama spending/pork bill was the wrong thing to do.

You posted that, “The fact of the matter is that the majority of economists agree that no stimulus was required at all”.

That is clearly not true and not supported at all in the article you posted from the WSJ.

Yes, they said, "70% of participants said the response of governments around the world to the global recession has been inadequate" .

INADEQUATE!

inadequate
Adjective
1. not enough; insufficient
2. not good enough

THEY ARE CALLING FOR MORE NOT LESS!

They are NOT saying that “...no stimulus was required at all”.

Jeff,

You left off 2 of the adjectives that apply to the definition of "inadequate" as it applies to the article.

inadequate
Adjective
1. laughable
2. poor

Barraks actions have been laughable in that the "stimulus" (spending) package will not address the immediate problems that the country is facing. Barrak is a poor excuse for a leader.

President declares economic crisis 'not as bad as we think,' says his plans will speed recovery

The headlines this morning just show and prove that Obama has a firm, steady, controlling hand on this economic crisis. See how rewarding and prosperous our nation becomes when we expand government and passout money to the ruling class so it can trickle down our way?

You should be ashamed.... Remember one thing. David's Mom told you so. So I also think that makes Diva correct when he calls you a "Cotton Headed Ninny Muggins".

What a great day.... We have been Heeealed! PTLO

Git,

As I stated earlier, Barrack "The Liar" Obama's claims of doom and gloom and that "only government can solve this problem" was nothing more than fear mongering perpetrated on the American people in order to garner support for his pork-filled spending bill.

Barrack Obama is nothing but a pathological liar.

But so are 90% of the debris that run this country.

was nothing more than fear mongering perpetrated on the American people in order to garner support for his pork-filled spending bill.

Yup..got him elected too. Downturns come and go and this one too will pass. What will dig us out are those of us hanging in there, producing, working hard and making wise financial decisions in spite of the madness that swirls around us.

Dang it... I wish the Republicans had something tangible to get behind besides a bunch of controlled government and free enterprise rhetoric.

What happened to 'the sky is falling...we have to pass the stimulus bill ASAP'?

I guess that means that my husbands company will reverse their furlough policy and replace all the money he's lost in his 401K. Should expect to see those funds replaced real soon. Right.......

Have a good day, keep looking for pearls. Smiling

All is well. The Wall Street crowd, the lobbyists, the special interest groups, union, and multiple other sources of scoundrels have have had their pockets lined. Things are looking up now.
