Three teenagers were transported to a local hospital Friday evening after they were found to be highly intoxicated at a neighborhood park in Peachtree City, police said.

They were part of a group of five teens discovered as officers investigated a complaint at the Ardenlee park area around 9 p.m., police said. When the officers arrived they found five teenagers, four of which were juveniles, police said.

All five teens were intoxicated, some to the point of vomiting, police said.

The group included two males, ages 16 and 17, and three females: two of whom were 14, and one of the females was 13, police said.

The three patients were treated at the scene and transported to the hospital by the Peachtree City Fire Department, police said.

All five teens were charged with underage possession of alcohol, police said. The group had been in several other places earlier in the evening, police said.

between these teens and many adults when we were that age is they got caught. This in nothing new and I'm not sure one would consider it newsworthy, especially since no names of minors can be published anyway. Only good thing here is no one was injured.

Meaning normal behavior? Are you saying that MOST teens behave in this way? Or is it only in PTC?

Spyglass, I have read your reply's here for quite some time now and I have to ask, why do you have such a problem with the kids in PTC. What Model city do you live in, where the Sun comes up everyday and all of the kids are perfect. With that said we all know that Kids get in trouble no matter were they live. And yes if you have kids they will get into trouble once or twice while they are growing up. I grew up in Smyrna and we had problems, but unlike today, there wasn't an internet were when someone farted you heard about it the next minute. The difference between now and then is that then the police brought you home and your parents handled it, now its right off to Jail (municipalities can't make money the old way). Yes, these kids went to far and I'll bet that after getting that sick it will be a long time before they try that again.
I have 2 teenagers and they have not been in trouble, but my Wife and I are realist and both know that Spif happens. You just do the best that you can do with your kids, spend time with them and hope that you have done a good job. And by the way, they still don't hand out a manual at the hospital on how to raise kids, You just do your best and hope that you have done a good job.

I graduated in '74, you want to talk about dated. Now Campbell is a middle school. Smyrna was a great place to grow up, lots of stuff to do.

I had NO issues at all with the kids here. I was responding to Skyspy's remark about PTC kids.

I think you're confusing us.

And I have no idea why you have to dial "1" for English. Smiling

Typical Kids from any town in the U.S. not just PTC. Contrary to popular belief, we don't have a monopoly on stupid kids or parents, this happens in any town in our country. Now I'm not saying we don't have stupid kids/parents, but I don't believe have any more than our surrounding cities or counties.

No can't be drunk kids in a predominately "white" area could it. Again, it doesn't matter where u live anymore. These teenagers get bored and trouble begins. Where were these kids parents? Seems kids are getting in trouble everywhere.
