There is a boiling and bubbling cauldron just below the surface of our land. It is overflowing with resentment and anger towards those who would hijack our nation. The current administration and a majority of Congress believe that a two- to six-year term of elected service entitles them to destroy our country of 230 years and remake it in their image. They apparently do not understand that the tyranny of socialism will not be tolerated. It is not yet 100 days into the new administration, yet bills that include massive spending, massive debt, massive government expansion, and increased taxation on the successful have been passed or are being proposed. Congress wants those who pay taxes to support those who do not and wants those who pay their mortgages to pay the mortgages of those who bought homes they could not afford in the first place. Fundamentally Congress wants to take from our nation’s achievers and hand it to the non-achievers. There is much talk of our government taking over the banks, making a college education an entitlement, and more. President Obama is trying to deny the “socialist” accusations, but think of it this way. Let’s say someone hits you in the face. And when you tell that person not to hit you in the face, he says that he did not hit you in the face. Could he say it enough times to make you believe that he did not hit you? If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, it’s a duck. For many of us, the problems with President Obama’s associations with Bill Ayers, the Rev. Wright, ACORN, etc., were not the rhetoric or the bombings, but the blatant socialist philosophies of those people and organizations. President John Adams knew that our government had the potential to fail for a very specific reason. He said, “Our constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Immoral and non-religious aptly describes the majority of the people currently serving in Congress. Many of us feel helpless to stop this massive federal government takeover of our banks, our businesses and our lives. So what can we do? Are there any movements or leaders out there? Yes. If you are uninformed on exactly what is going on in our nation try listening, for just one day, to Rush, Herman Cain, Neal Boortz, Sean Hannity, or some other conservative radio program and you will learn volumes. I have been listening to Glenn Beck for years before he went on TV. He actually predicted this economic disaster two years before it happened. People laughed at him until his prophesy became true. Thousands of people across this country will be gathering together on Friday, March 13, to watch Glenn’s TV show as he speaks directly to what we can do. The groups gathered together to watch the program will then be encouraged to discuss among themselves what to do from there.
