Fewest Republicans in two decades

The Republican party continues to hemorrhage voters.

In what is being described as the largest party identification gap since 1985, 38 percent of Americans say they are Democrats, 28 percent call themselves Republicans and another 29 percent identify as independents.

Less than one in three people nationwide now identify with the Republicans. Life is good.

Republicans consist of Conservatives and Moderates..
Democrats consist of Liberals and well Liberal Lite..
Conservatives believe in something and unlike Demos they can and will walk away from a "PARTY" if that party departs from their beliefs.. Coming from a former Liberal Democrat-Conservative Republican and now Libertarian I believe I can say that with conviction...
People like you who are nothing but party hacks don't understand that.. It is not about a PARTY Sniff it is about AMERICA and what is best FOR ALL OF US.. not just a party.. When you finally grow up you may have the intelligence to realize this..(that was for the coming "lil snipy" "homeskool" reply)Please come up with some new material.. it is getting a little stale..

I will not lower my standards.. So UP YOURS.. Evil

"28% are republican" While that statistic might be true, unfortunately from all the posts on this web site, it appears that 80% of that 28% live in Fayette Co.

And I know a whole bunch like me out here in the 'productive world' that are former Republicans without a home. And we ain't a throwin' our hats in the ring with those those Tax and Spend Democrats.

Sniffles... Join me and lets scrutinize Washington as much you do the the Fayette County School Board. I commend you on your efforts. Let's move on.... there are bigger fish to fry.....
